Red color faded drastically within 4 months, including the purple and orange stripes. A bit later it ripped, also in only sections that had red dye, tangling itself into a big mess. You can also see in the third picture that the grommets have rusted. Didn't even survive 6 months. Don't buy this with intention to actually use on a flagpole. Update 1/5/19: I'm raising my review from one star to two solely because the company's customer service is making an attempt, even if the product itself is still the same as my original review. I was reached out to and sent a replacement flag. However, the replacement flag arrived with messed up stitching on the top of the red stripe (pic 4). I fixed it myself, but after two weeks on a flagpole, the stitching on the end of the flag also snapped and the seam came undone, bunching up the entire flag (pic 5). I have now received ANOTHER replacement flag, which is why I'm at least giving them a star for trying, but at this point, I am just going to reiterate that this flag is NOT to be used outdoors as an actual flag unless you intend to replace it every couple months. It faded, ripped, rusted and had busted seams, going against every quality advertised in the description. If you use it for pride costuming or hang it on a wall or something, you'll be fine. But it cannot handle light to moderate sun, wind, and rain. Update 3/16/19: Updating my review per ridiculously persistent request. After I complained about the second flag, I was contacted again and sent an updated flag that has the stripes stitched together instead of dyed on. I have only had this new flag up a couple weeks so I cannot yet say if it will fade or rip. HOWEVER, I have been hounded by the customer service rep, repeatedly emailing me to ask if the new flag was good enough and if I would update my review despite my MORE THAN ONCE saying I wasn't going to change my review until I tested the flag long enough to know that my review had changed. It's bad enough that I was emailed over and over, but a few days ago I received a TEXT MESSAGE AT 11:30pm with the same request. This is not acceptable. So now I am updating my review to reflect THAT. STOP. CONTACTING. ME. I will amend my review honestly once I know whether or not the new flag will still rip and fade. Update 7/3/19: AS I SAID I WOULD, I'm updating my review after flying the last replacement flag for a few months to see if it would rip and fade as much as the original. The last flag, which has the stripes stitched together instead of dyed, does seem to be holding up much better than the first flag I received. There is still some minor fraying on the red corner, but nothing nearly as bad as the first one and the colors do appear to be holding. I think I can finally say the latest version of this flag could actually survive use as an actual flag. Raising my review from 2 to 4 stars. It would have been 5 because I think the latest product is actually worth it, but I'm still annoyed by how much I was hounded to change my review. ... show more

My students liked the other flags I purchased for African and and Latin American History month so much. They asked me to buy one for Pride Month. How could anyone possibly refuse? The flag has been above my classroom door greeting my students as they arrive.

The thickness of the fabric left much to be desired. This is not a linen or heavy nylon flag. I'm not sure what the material is but it it is not substantial and the colors are somewhat muted (not so proud!). Good value for the price and a good standard sized residential sized flag. I might buy a more substantial unit when time comes to replace it. Otherwise I proudly fly it. It probably would be better on a porch installation rather than a 20 foot flag pole that I am using (with the US flag). ... show more
