This is my favorite iphone charging cord ever. I have used many different cords over the years and this seems to be the most durable. Apples own factory cords seem to last about a year before the cord sheath near the lighting connector starts to fray. Most other brands i have used are lucky to last 6 months before they just stop working, but I have yet to have any problems with any anker cords I have used so far, including this one. Since most charges I have now have a usb c port I upgraded to this cable to charge my iphone and ipad at a faster rate than the standard usb cords could provide and this certainly performs in that arena charging much faster than any of the older cords and charger combos i have used in the past. ... show more

I've bought several 6-foot-long Anker charging cables that are silicone-wrapped and very supple – there's no stiffness to them at all and they don't retain any bend they're subjected to. I was hoping these 10-foot cables were going to be the same thing, just longer, but they're not. These are stiffer, which makes them seem less durable to me (I don't know if that will actually be the case, but they seem that way to me). The length is fantastic – it's just what I want. I just wish these were those same supple, spaghetti-like cables that the six-footers are. I guess they just can't make them like that in a 10-foot length for some reason. Ah well - it's a minor complaint. Provided these hold up, I'll be plenty happy enough with them. ... show more

I have switched/phased out all my Apple charging cords to the Anker charging cords. I purchased this one because my sister needed a 10’ cord. So I told her about the Anker’s products and their cellphone charging cords and how well made/quality are great and lasts way longer than Apple’s own USB cords. So far all my Anker charging cords are still working fine as it has on day 1 and I have a lot. I haven’t had any issues with Anker’s cellphone charging cord. The cord itself is thick (about twice the thickness of an Apple cord). I have purchased Anker phone charger cords for my 3 cars, plus my son’s, daughter’s and son in-law’s cars and for their personal use. They loved it and purchased a few for themselves. All our charging cords around the house are all by Anker. You can’t go wrong with this cord. I trust Anker that I have many other products that are made by Anker. ... show more
