  • Keeps your laptop running for a long time
Style: C300 DC
We had a power outage recently that lasted for several days, but I still needed to work from home. It was kind of a tricky business keeping my laptop and cellphone hotspot charged up for 8 hours every day. So I bought this little device. It's got a huge battery (90,000 Ah) compared to most phone battery packs (10,000 Ah), but it's tiny (6-1/2 pounds) compared to most solar power stations (25+ pounds). It'll keep my laptop charged up for a good part of a day, and it can charge my cellphone for over a week if necessary. It's light enough to take camping, and the little popup lantern is really nice; the lantern draws 3W at maximum power, which lets it run for over 80 hours on a full charge. They claim it can charge from 0 to 80% in 1 hour using two 140W chargers; I have an Anker Prime 250W charger, so I could get 140W and 100W using two cables and it took about 90 minutes to go from 27% to 100%. It can also charge from 0 to 80% using 100W of solar panels in 2.5 hours. Keep in mind that solar panels only put out their rated power under perfect conditions; under normal use a 100W panel might make 50-75 watts, and less with any kind of clouds, shadows, high temperatures, dust, or poor alignment. It can be charged using a car cigarette lighter, but it doesn't come with the cable. If you have a Solix C1000, the car adapter that comes with it is compatible with this model too. The difference between the C300 AC and the C300 DC is that the DC version doesn't have any AC power ports, of course; it has a popup 360° lantern, it has two USB-C 140W ports, one USB-C 100W and one USB-C 15W ports, and two 12W USB-A ports, and it can charge using two USB-C ports at the same time. The AC version has a light that faces forwards only, it has only 3 USB-C ports (two 140W, one 15W) and only a single USB-A port, and it can only charge itself using one USB charger, not two, so it takes 1.8 hours to go from 0 to 80%; it can also charge using an AC cord (0 - 80% in 50 minutes), which the DC version can't do at all. The DC version is about 20% cheaper, and weighs 2/3 as much. Both have the same size battery. If you think you're going to need AC power, but not a lot (only 300W), the C300 AC is the better option, but if you have or are planning to get another, more powerful power station like the C1000, then the C300 DC is cheaper and weighs less, and gives you a better light and more USB flexibility. ... show more

  • Great Unit
Style: C300 DC
We've been using this unit to charge three iPhones and three iPads for over a week now, and it's still showing a lot of reserve power in its awesome LFP batteries. The battery life is seriously impressive. The build quality of this thing is top-notch. It feels super sturdy, like it could handle just about anything. You can really tell that Anker put a lot of thought into making this durable and reliable. I also love the user interface. It's really easy to use and navigate. Plus, the Anker app I downloaded works great, just like they advertised. The app makes it so much easier to manage everything, which is a huge plus. I'm really happy with this purchase. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I also got the optional strap, and it's already proven to be really useful, making the unit more portable and easier to carry around. ... show more

  • 4.5 Stars, because it works.
Style: C300 DC
This does indeed charge my laptops, phones, drives and other things quite well! Kept my Macbook, drives, and portable printer working all day. This WILL serve you well for years as it seems to be excellent quality, the app is excellent, and the light which I thought I wouldn't need is kinda awesome! CONS: It only has 90,000 mAh and weighs a ton. I have several 50,000 mAh power bricks, but this is 5 times heavier than any one of them. For the weight... how does this only have 90k mAh? Not joking, this is NOT something to throw over your shoulder for a 3 day camping trip. Would I buy it again? YES! Well... maybe. Product design is excellent, I just want more juice. :) ... show more

  • Product is great, unboxing experience poor
Style: C300 DC
First, the product itself I really, really like. A perfect form factor with a ton of power for the size and all the charging ports I could want on a DC version, and you can technically add two more USB ports if you put a USB cigarette charge into the cigarette port. Love that it can fast charge with two inputs not that I expect to use that much, love the light and even how the pop up top can be adjusted to throw light more in own direction or another. Appreciate the solar input, and the bluetooth app control is simple and just what you'd want. It's unfortunate this great product has some reviews below with poor star rating just because they were frustrated with the unboxing experience since the product itself deserves hight. But I did not one star off my review for the same reason, the unboxing experience is poor. Like other,s my unit didn't turn on no matter what I tried at first and thought it might be defective. It wasn't until I plugged in a charging cable that it turned on, even though it was already at 26% charge, and as others pointed out, its not easily clear out of the box which port you should plug the charging cable into. Anker includes two printed pieces, but neither contain useful information and basically you have to scan a QR code to download the real manual. They really missed the boat not putting a quick start guide into the box. ... show more
