  • Great Battery! Very Happy with Anker and their support.
Style: Anker SOLIX C1000+Protection Bag
Just used for a camping weekend. Couldn't have been happier. Battery went to 70% each night with mutiple cell phones, kids tablets, lights being constantly charged up throughout the day. Solal Panel got it back to almost 100% during the day. Anker support was great to, called about an Amazon issue, they responded very quickly. ... show more

  • Excellent battery; it’s exactly what I was looking for!
Style: Anker SOLIX C1000+Protection Bag
I LOVE this battery! I use it often when going grocery shopping- plugging in my portable car fridge/freezer (as I don’t like to keep the fridge plugged into my car when I’m shopping for fear that it will drain my car battery). I have also used this battery on our long winter road trip up the East Coast (again, in conjunction with my fridge), as well as charging my laptop, iPad, and cell phone. It holds a charge for a long time (I have yet to have it die on me with anything I’ve charged it with); I will also charge it full and then leave it for a couple weeks- and it is still at a full charge. I just bought some solar panels for it - but a different brand, so I’m hoping they fit! I’ve had this battery for about 6 months or so now and am very happy with my purchase. I feel safe in any emergency- knowing I can keep our food cold with this battery, as well as plug in any phones and fans that we may need- should the power go out for a long period of time (or a natural disaster happen to hit). It is a bit heavy, but it’s powerful and worth lifting a few extra pounds around when moving it.💪 ... show more

  • Love this product!
Style: Anker SOLIX C1000+Protection Bag
I absolutely love this product! We had a power outage and this powered just about all my devices in the house. I couldn’t use it on my big fridge but I know they sell one that could power. I plan to buy that next. Back to this one, it’s sufficiently powered to power our cells phones, tablets and laptops for days before needing to be recharged. It charges completely within 4 hours or so when it’s completely dead. Takes a lot less time if you charge it periodically in between uses. Great for camping. Probable but heavy! It comes with a really nice carrying case which is extremely helpful. You can store the cord and anything else you might need to carry like cables, etc. I’ve come to trust and really in Anker. I definitely recommend their products. ... show more

  • Does well what is supposed to do
Style: Anker SOLIX C1000+Protection Bag
This is nice portable power station that does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well. You could power several small appliances from it within power limit. Electric kettle works just fine. 1500W electric heater also. But, not at the same time. There is just ~1kWh of battery capacity as advertised so, ~1000W load burns it within just ~45-55 minutes. What is good: - XT-60 DC charging port apparently connected to "not just solar" charge controller with builtin current limiter. - Station could be charged from any DC power source that is either has own current limiter or could handle 10 Amp load for 11-32V or 12.5 Amp for 32-60V so, station's own current limiter would work just fine. - Examples of power sources that work: -- AC. Wires included. -- Solar panel. Wires included for paralleling 3 solar panels, but not for connecting those to power station. -- E-bike battery. -- E-bike solar charge controller. -- Cigarette lighter socket in car. Wire included. -- Any battery charger with current limiter. Like e-bike charger or car. - Connecting 48V 20AH e-bike battery via XT-60 effectively almost doubles "capacity" of the unit. Though this battery needs to be recharged separately. This could be done by connecting e-bike solar (or AC) charger to battery's charge port at the same time. Note, only LiFePo4 batteries could be considered safe in such applications while regular Li-Ions are fire hazard, as those produce more heat and may start fire. Little extra that lacking: - No wires in the package to connect solar panels. You need separate MC4 to XT-60 adapter for it. - App might be better. E.g. it lacks power consumption history and averages. So, if you one day wonder what exactly ate you battery and when it happened, - you would not know. - Total AC input power seems limited when connected to AC source. E.g. if you have 1500W load and recharging battery at the same time, recharge would be slow. So, I would not recommend to use it continuously in UPS mode for anything above ~800W. - Total DC input power limited by Voltage X Current. E.g. for 12 V and 10 Amp DC input would be limited to 120W. Maximum it could take from DC is [email protected] that is 750W input. - As a result of above you need to pick and chose higher voltage solar panels to really deliver power those generate to this unit or connect panels in series. Unfortunately both configurations would be very sensitive to partial panel shading. E.g. 4x100W 12V solar panels if connected in parallel would not deliver more than 120W to this unit. Though, in series those would, but any partial shading of any panel would drag it much lower. So, I prefer to use MPPT-Boost solar charge controller from e-bike as middle layer for boosting voltage to 48V while 12V solar panels connected in parallel. - Looks like it does not have DC pass-through mode. E.g. If you have 400W solar panels connected, 200W load, 100% charged battery and no AC source, unit would 1st discharge battery to 99% while draining no power from solar panels. 2nd, once 99% reached it would start draining power from panels to recharge battery to 100% again. This loop results into extra partial charge-discharge cycles on battery that might impact battery lifetime. This also creates recharge notification spam in the app. - Manual control over charge speed from DC source in App would be nice. If implemented, it would be possible to charge power station from any DC source, even if it cannot handle 10/12.5A and does not have builtin current limiter. ... show more

This device is amazing. A couple of days after I received it, the power went out, and it powered a few things in my house to get by for 12 hours.

  • Great camping battery!
Style: Anker SOLIX C1000+Protection Bag
I’m using this 1000w battery to power my CPAP machine when I’m dry camping. I have a Dreamstation 2, and with the humidifier on 3, I’m using 8% of the battery’s power a night, so could go 12 nights or so before having to charge it with my truck or solar panels. I am using the 12v adapter with the Dreamstation and plugging into the dc lighter socket. ... show more
