I've used Anker chargers for years, and have always appreciated (1) their speed, (2) their versatility and (3) their reliability. This charger is no exception. I bought an iPhone 15 Pro with the USB-C connection, so I needed a new charger for the phone. Apple no longer provides chargers for the iPhones, so I started looking for a good, fast charger. I did my research and once again concluded that the best solution is Anker, this particular Anker charger. I like it because (1) it's fast and (2) it uses the new GaN technology to make it more compact. It also has the folding plug, convenient for travel purposes. For many years, people have had the habit of plugging their cell phones in at night, and letting them charge all night long. And although there are supposed to be protections against overcharging on the iPhones, it's now a generally accepted fact that you shouldn't continue to charge them after they've hit 100%. There is even an new option for the phone to stop being charged at 80%, to protect against overcharging. My solution is to plug in my iPhone when I first get up, and then let it charge while I'm getting ready for the day. Otherwise I don't charge the phone again until the following morning. With this rapid charger, I generally have close to 100% charge by the time I am ready for the day, and it doesn't get overcharged. I also like that it charges multiple devices and has one of the old USB-A ports for older devices. Also, it seems that lots of people want to buy only Apple products, including their chargers. But in my opinion, there is no need for always 100% Apple everywhere. You're fine with third-party products such as those produced by Anker. I recently purchased the Anker Prime 100w USB-C charger to go along with my Anker 100W cables. This charger is compact yet powerful and provides sufficent power to run my HP laptop and charge my new iPhone 15 at the same time. This is tough for me, because getting a quality charger is super important to protect your devices from damage. And cheap chargers can do a lot of damage. Anker has proven to be reliable, safe, and very good quality. I do believe in paying for all of these things, however, I do feel that the price is a little high and making these products less available for the average buyer. Is the product good? Yes, very. Is it compact? Yes. Is it safe? I haven't had any issues charging multiple devices from multiple makers. Is it fast? Yes, and with two options for speed on the charging ports you can match the size device to which amount of speed and powered charge you need. This is a small charger for 100w, compared to a 65w charger I used. It provides enough power when tested, a decent power draw when idle, and doesn't get hot under load. I didn't need 100w, but the size is great for travel. Without running slowly, I can quickly charge my laptop and other gear, like a camera(s), phone, power bank, etc. It's an excellent AIO brick. It's pretty expensive, but grab one if you get it at a good deal.     • Solid charger but can't handle my laptop and phone at once
The charger has been working well, but it can't provide enough charge to my Lenovo laptop and my Pixel 6 Pro at the same time. Individually, they charge very quickly, but once both are plugged in (even if my phone is 100% charged), the laptop battery slowly drains.     • Small, but heavy
I bought this to replace a more squarish RAVPpower GaN charger in my laptop bag to have a little more room and an extra power port for when I travel. I like it, but it’s so heavy it doesn’t stay plugged into many wall outlets. I’ve tried with tight receptacles in new construction and older ones on my office and a hotel, but it falls out of all of them if you look at it funny. Ordinarily I’d just angle the tines out a little, but these fit snugly into the slots on the transformer and I’m afraid I’d lose the ability to fold it up if I bent them much. UPDATE: Anker reached out to me and suggested I might be happier with the model 737 which, although slightly longer, has a silicone collar that supports it against the wall. They were 100% correct- that model works great (and gives my MacBook Pro and iPad more watts to share.) I appreciate the proactive customer support and am quite happy with the alternative product. ... show more
