I used this in my LR Defender. Plugged my iPhone12 in every day on the way to work. After a few weeks, the ends got loose and CarPlay would disconnect and then reconnect over and over. I swear by Anker charging accessories - Have loads of their cables in both of our cars. I put the PowerLine Flow series in our new Jeep as it offered USB Type C ports for media connection for Android Auto (and Carplay) and the flex of the cable makes it so much easier to manage in the confines of the Jeep. I really wish they made this same cable in A-to-C or A-to-Lightning so that I could replace all of mine with that soft rubbery texture! Love it! Also: The tips of the cables have this little "Rose gold" accent that I wish was silver so that it didn't look so girly - But otherwise they are GREAT so I don't mind! I really wanted to like this item. It does have a very soft and flexible feel. However, this was a colossal dud for me. In 1 hour plugged into my iPhone 12, it moves the charge only 20% points. I kept thinking it was my new 100w USB-C charger that was the dud because it couldn’t be Anker right? Well, I ended up buying another Satechi 100w USB-C charger with the same result. I pulled out the original Apple charging cable that came with the phone and conducted the same experiment with both chargers with the original Apple cable and the charge moves 45% points in 1 hour. Unfortunate that the Anker product did not even come close to stated expectations as a “high-speed charging” product. ... show more

    • Stopped working after a couple weeks

When I can get it to work, it charges quickly. I treat my charger cables as if they are made of precious gems – they lay flat on a table, never go in a bag… I bought this at the end of May and within three or four weeks I had to start fiddling for sometimes up to two or three minutes every time I plug the phone in. I would really appreciate if Anker would reach out to me about a replacement. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with a company that I purchase from because of durability ... show more

Something changed. The earlier versions of this cable worked beautifully, but they were out of stock for a long time and now the ones that are shipping don’t work. When connected to an iPhone 12 using an Apple USB-C charger the phone will not begin charging unless you disconnect the USB-C end of the cable from the charger and reconnect it. Swapping the cable out to an older one/prior version with the same Apple charger, everything works perfectly. This current rev of the cable is bad. ... show more

It’s September and I’ve had this cable since April. I honestly don’t know how people can’t last with this cable for only two months. I’ve had it since April and I have no issues at all, I take it every where I go and have pulled it by accident various times and this cable is still alive. Take notes of everyone’s experience with the cable, but keep in mind that if you treat your stuff carefully they are going to last long. I recommend it 100% ... show more

I thought I needed another cable like a hole in the head but this is really a cut above! The clams are true, very impressed! I am a cable junkie and big fan of Anker cables. I hope they offer cables like this in usb-C/usb-C & usb-A to usb-C. I also would love shorter perhaps 1/2m.
