Wow, these hiking boots are so comfortable! Plenty of padding inside to support every step you take on all sorts of terrain, including just a bit of ankle support. (it’s the right amount of support for me, because it doesn’t restrict your ankle completely, but it does help stabilize it.) The entire perimeter uses waterproof materials so that your feet don’t end up swampy and wet, and the removable insole can always be washed separately if anything gets stinky. Everything is well made inside and outside, with an attractive appearance. Lacing them up as well as getting in and out is easy, because it has two rows of those out facing hooks so you can easily open the shoe to go in without even having to untie and re-tie your laces. Perfect fit, but the traction could be better—a bit deeper might last longer, but we’ll see. Maybe it’ll be fine. These look and feel great, offering comfort and a clean attractive design. I’ve been really impressed with these hiking boots so far. They feel lightweight but still very sturdy, which is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of boots that are “heavy-duty” end up feeling bulky, but these strike a really nice balance. The waterproofing actually works—I’ve worn them in wet grass and muddy conditions and my feet stayed completely dry. At the same time, they don’t make your feet overheat, which is a big plus if you’re wearing them for longer periods. Comfort-wise, they were good right out of the box. The cushioning helps a lot, and I didn’t have any foot pain even after wearing them for extended periods. The ankle support is solid without feeling stiff, and the grip on the bottom feels reliable on different surfaces. I also like how easy they are to put on and take off, even with the lace-up design. They feel well-made with quality materials and stitching, so they seem like they’ll hold up over time. Sizing was accurate for me (true to U.S. size), which is always a relief when ordering shoes online. Sometimes you wonder why consumers spend extra money on a brand name. If they do so when theres a label ( that’s visible) to somewhat justify it …fine. If they spend more with no way of knowing it’s a luxury brand…shame on them. These ANJOUFEMME hiking boots are a great find! They are lightweight, well made and have that street vibe look. The neutral beige color is really versatile and looks good with just about anything. They also have a nice sporty look without being too bulky. Comfort-wise, they feel supportive with a cushioned sole that makes walking easy, even for longer periods. The tread on the bottom gives good traction, so they feel stable on different surfaces. I also like the mid-ankle height—it adds support without feeling restrictive. The material has breathable mesh panels, which is a nice touch, especially if you’re wearing them for extended periods.
