I bought these for my trip to Alaska to 1. keep my feet warm and 2. to do some hiking, or simply just to walk on the snow without slipping and sliding. They were great all around. They are not the most comfortable and it's hard to wear them for too long, so that may be tough if going on a long hike. But they are good at keeping the feet warm, and I certainly didn't slip on snow and ice. I live in Florida, so there's not much of a need for these shoes, but we do get the occasional cold snap, so having these shoes on hand is helpful for that, and then if I take any other trips to see snow, it's good for that as well, because I won't make the mistake of wearing sneakers in snow again with no backups! ... show more

I bought these for an arctic cruise and they are perfect in every way. The fit is as expected although I sized up from an 8 to an 8.5 to wear heavy socks. The inside is so soft and warm and I didn't have to break them in. I wore them to New York where we did a lot of walking and these were so comfortable. The weather in Arizonans has been cold, below the normal temperature and since I was going to be home (Seattle) for Christmas, I needed something warm and comfortable! I came across these boots while browsing and decided to try them out. Well, ladies, they didn’t disappoint. They are even cuter in person. So comfortable, cute and the inside is very cushioning. I love them so much that I am going to get another pair! I wear a size 7 and these boots fit true to size. I was hesitant about buying new boots, but these have definitely exceeded my expectations. They are big enough to wear thick comfy socks with and keep my feet warm. Even without thick socks, they fit comfortably. I can wear them all day without them hurting my feet. If I had to say one con, it would be that they are slightly heavy.... Now even though it seemed like I'm going to return them (when I tried them with regular every day socks 🧦) I gave them a second chance and wore them on this time with thick winter socks and they did the trick. When I got these boots, I was afraid they’d get ruined or stained easily because they are really nice looking boots and the material is so soft. They do scuff easily BUT they are super easy to clean and they keep me safe in the snow, especially in the Midwest. I wear these boots near dogs and they tend to scratch or stain stuff without trying, a simple wipe down and they’re good as new.
