These boots are just wonderful! You do have to unlace them to put them on or take them off, which is no problem for me. They give my ankles really good support. The insides of them are soft. The outside is waterproof. They are very comfortable! They are very stylish too. I love how they look on me! I’m very glad I got them. I can’t believe they were so inexpensive! They’re very good quality boots. Edit: You don't have to actually unlace the boots. Just loosen the laces until the tongue comes out all the way (just past the metal grommets). So easy to put on and take off. Also forgot to mention that there is plenty of room to wiggle your toes. And these boots keep your feet warm and toasty. Good arch support inside the boot. The boots are overall great, and comfortable but they could be a little bit more insulated for our taste. The material is solid and keeps the feet warm but again a little bit more softness would make the boots perfect.

    • Well-made, stylish, comfortable
I was looking for cold weather ankle boots, waterproof but stylish, to pair with leggings and bootcut jeans. Looked on other sites that had similar but more expensive styles. Saw all the great reviews for this pair, liked the color options. Bought neutral colored boot socks and sized up 1/2 size (I’m usually a 7). Arrived in a nondescript brown box, well packaged in fabric shoe sleeves. Fits great with thick socks. Looks great with leggings and jeans. Doesn’t look cheap. Wore them in snow/icy conditions, feet stayed dry and warm. Only thing is the inside sole lining wore off the first day but the support still seems to be there. Color is nice, neutral beige with brownish/cream plaid ankle cuff. Overall would recommend. ... show more

Shoes are so hard to buy online without trying on, I initially bought size 7, which is bigger than I normally wear, but they were way too big. So I returned and bought size 6. These fit GREAT! I should have listened to other reviews on my first purchase. I got to take my first hike this past weekend and they were so good! Slightly tight in the toes, but I have not broke them in at all, I'm confident they'll loosen up a little bit after using them more often. They were strong and sturdy over uneven terrain while I also had about 30lbs on my back. I would maybe suggest buying a half size larger, I think after a long hike, or a cold hike with thick socks I would be more comfortable with just that LITTLE bit of extra room. Even beyond that, I am perfectly happy with my purchase and will defiantly be considering purchasing this shoe again. Update (1.24.25): Alas, I have not hiked as often in these shoes as I would like. But they have been on a few hikes with me and still holding up well. I also broke them out again for this winter, as we're hitting NEGATIVE temps and my other boots aren't cutting it. My toes do get cold initially, but again we're in NEGATIVE temps. BUT my toes warm right back up after being inside. The material on the toe tips have gotten a little beat up, but no rips and well.. I've been using them, so they're expected to get a little beat up! The cuffs/ankles still stay tight with my skin, so no snow gets inside the boots. To update my previous review as well, the toe area inside has indeed loosened a bit after being broken into and have an great amount of room even with slightly thicker than normal socks, it's important to have some space for your toes to wiggle in cold temps, that helps keep your blood flowing which equals warmth! I’m so so happy with these boots! I don’t generally write reviews unless I’m really impressed…so I’m writing! I got the “winter blue” and the color is beautiful. They are really well made, not heavy duty hikers but an everyday kind of boot for cool weather and are a soft suede? material. I wore them the first time and it was pouring rain and I was worried about water spots but there were none. The inside is a velvety soft lining that is not bulky or too hot but feel cozy. I have a collapsed arch in my foot so have these little arch supports that I did add because on my feet they were too flat but I have to put these little guys in all of my sandals and shoes so expected I would in these as well. I worked 11 hours the first time wearing and I was comfortable all day. They are so cute with jeans and I got many compliments. I love shoes and boots and these are my new favorites! I highly recommend! I’m also in between sizes now because my arch fell and have fairly narrow feet, 8’s are usually too big but 7’s are usually too short so got the 7.5 and they fit perfect.     • Great EXCEPT really hard to get on!

These really needed a loop to hold the top, back of the boot when you are sliding your heel in. The opening of the boot is too narrow so it’s SUPER hard to get your heel in without a shoe horn- and who uses those anymore!? But once you get them on they’re very stylish and comfortable.
