My hip tends to dislocate or partially dislocates while I sleep so this pillow keeps my knees, legs, hips supported so I do not sleep with my knee behind the other knee which can cause my hip to dislocate or partially. With this pillow (which I bought the largest one) I have the head section at my feet then cross over the long sides so it is in a shape of a ribbon so whichever side I roll on I have the pillow between my knees and push the back of the pillow behind my knees plus with it being so large I can still hug the pillow and have the other side against my back for support for other conditions I have. The material is very comfortable and well made. It doesn't make me any hotter than I normally would be. In other words due to many health condition sometimes I get extremely hot but this doesn't agitate or makes it worse. So I think for most it would be comfortable and not hot. Also, the pillow also came with an extra pillow case so that was a nice addition. I will never live without this pillow again. Prior I had tons of pillows to support my body now I just have this one pillow so much better. Highly recommended for everyone who needs support due to hip issues ... to put it short and sweet ... if you are sleeping with tons of pillows ... buy this one then all you need to worry about is adjusting one pillow vs many. 5 STARS! The only regret I have in my pregnancy so far (35 weeks along) is not buying this pillow sooner. I bought it around 25 weeks and it completely changed my sleep quality. The U shape is so convenient because you don't have to physically move the pillow from one side to the other in the night - you just have to move your body. I'm 4' 11", so the shortest length is more than enough for me. My husband also started sleeping better after I got this because I could turn over more easily in the night without waking him up. If you're pregnant, don't wait on buying something like this. When you start to get uncomfortable or have trouble sleeping, buy it. You'll more than get your money's worth. ... show more

The pillow is supportive, yet, during sleep can become to much giving a smothering feeling. The temperature of your environment makes a hugh difference. Not suitable for summer use.

My favorite body pillow and I have owned pretty much every single one on the market for the last 10+ years! Very comfortable and huggable. Easily manuevers molds to the areas of the body you need it to better than any other body pillow including the latest microbead trendy pregnancy pillows. I am not pregnant but have a long list of chronic health issues to the point I am bed bound most days. I love that you can adjust the fluff. The pillow cover has held up very well (alot of other body pillow covers rip at the seams very easily and quickly). I cannot regulate my body temperature so I tend to overheat and sweat very easily and this pillow has not once overheated me. This pillow is soft yet a little firm and on the lower to medium side as far as height. It works perfectly for me because we have a 16inch mattress with a memory foam topper on top. When purchasing a body pillow I have found the key items to factor in are: your height/weight, material, and firmness of your bed. I am 5'9 and curvy and my bed is soft so I sink down a ways. If you have a firmer bed or need that ultra high fluff filling I suggest the Leachco Back N Belly pillow but it does run warmer than this pillow. ... show more

I purchased this for my granddaughter (12) who has scoliosis. It comes in a small box vacuum sealed. You are instructed to unpack and give it 72 hours to fully regain its shape. This picture was taken by her 4 days after she got it. That being said, she’s used it for 2 nights and she says she does t want to get off of it! She’s been on it all night and all day except to eat, swim and play. I would’ve given it 5 stars if it had really filled out fully but I don’t think it’s going to get any bigger than this ... show more

I got this because my mother was having back surgery and thought it could be of use. Its become one of the best purchases I've ever made. Even before the surgery she was using it. It took the pressure off of her lower back and legs. Its allowed her to sleep in her bed again. The pain was so bad she's been sleeping in a chair for months. After receiving it, we allowed it to inflate or fill out for a full 48 hours. It's awesome. I'm going to get another one for me.
