PROS - I love this product!! It's super easy to apply, cheap, and does a phenomenal job. - I love how it preserves the texture of the leather after painting. It makes it feel professional! - 1 oz bottles go REALLY far. I have more than half of the bottle left even after doing 8 layers on my jacket 🤌 CONS - The only reason I gave it 4 stars despite LOVING this product is that it takes so many layers to get a color pay off. - In the photos above, it took 8 coats to turn the black leather into semi opaque yellow. I then layered 3 coats of gold on top of the yellow to get a nice metallic shine. - overall, the painting process took me 4 days of on and off painting. It's a bit frustrating in that regard, but the patience and effort is worth it!! NOTES - It's best to do thin layers so that it preserves the original leather textures. - In the future, I would probably do a layer of white before colors - If youre debating getting this, this is your sign to get it! ... show more

This paint and matte finish from the same company saved my old wallet. I washed my light pink wallet as it was dirty so I ruined the whole wallet. I bought the Burgundy paint and the matte finish from the same company. First I’ve painted with the burgundy color, waited for 24 hours and then applied the matte finish. I even painted the zipper. No matte finish for the zipper, just the paint. The paint cap had a paint brush that was very useful. Then waited for another 24 hours and it was ready to use. I love how it turned out! ... show more

I got the color Saddle, it’s a rich almost close to cognac color but not quite. This is finished product without a coat of finisher on top(not needed since it doesn’t scratch or peel), and has a shiny look. It’s beautiful, used to paint my leather couch for a fun project. For this 3-seater reclining couch I bought 3 of the 4oz bottles and am ordering one more to finish the back of the couch, and that is with two coats on the entire couch!! Use sparingly with a non streaky brush and it’ll come out great. Am ordering more colors for more projects! ... show more

I used the Scarlet Red color to transform an old leather purse from a drab color to something more vibrant. I love the outcome! Very easy to apply (I used a foam brush) and there were no fumes or odor from the paint. It dried relatively quickly and any paint I accidentally got on my hands were easy to rinse off with soap and water. I ordered the 4 oz and used maybe 1.5 oz for this project so there’s plenty left. No issues worked well for my Versace which was turning yellow. So I just fixed it up using this product I even painted some yellowing threads and suede which was a brave move but it looks gorgeous now. It dries good and pretty fast with one coat. I've painted so many things over the past 5 decades. Interior walls, wood chairs .. you name it. I had this almost new plum colored leather chair that just didn't go with anything. Decided to pain it dark brown. Bought this 4oz bottle of Angelus Dark Brown, I wiped the chair down with Acetone, and then painted. This was the easiest painting job I have ever done. Paint coverage was incredible. I was painting over a dark surface - but all it took was one coat. No runs, no streaks. It was soooo easy. And the amazing thing is the paint doesn't crack or flake or anything. I used about 6oz (one coat) for this chair. The hardest part was getting into the nocks and crannies. I don't know how durable this will be long term - but right now the results look fantastic. And it was so easy. Pics show before, during and after. ... show more

I used this to change the color of a pair of black faux Suede Mary janes. There is more than enough paint to cover multiple pairs of shoes and it covers great in one coat. Amazing paint! I applied with a sponge stamp thing. Dries to the touch quickly. Isn't cripy or hard. So far hasn't cracked either. Took one bottle for two coats. My chair was white before. Coverage was pretty good, but I had to go over the seams to get the paint in the crevices, so that looked darker than the rest, warranting another coat. ... show more
