I think we all remember the original. This is not the same quality and really nothing is anymore. Yes, you might have to slightly bend and tweak to get it to work. Buy extra candles, cause the ones that come with it last about 1/2 hr.

so i always loved this as a child when we went to my grandmas house at Christmas time and though i need to get this for my home now. it was just as pictured on the page and some of the pieces needed a little help to get together but need to be careful as it will bend if you use to much force fitting parts together. it works great and has a pleasant very light dinging so its not annoying and my son loves it just like i did! 100% love this decoration and will cherish it year round:)

Bought it for nostalgic reasons. My mom had one when I was a kid and I used to love it. This thing I bought does not work. Assembled correctly, lit the candles, and the thing doesn’t spin. Do not buy.

I purchased one last month just for my house. It was very simple to put together, and it fits right in with the holiday season. It makes the perfect centerpiece. Then I bought 4 more... It could be a great gift to friends and family.

The media could not be loaded. But not like the ones from Germany as a kid. Went together with no problems. Buy extra candles though, the ones that come with it will only last about 30 minutes.

This was purchased for a gift. Everyone admires this little candle chime and asks where we bought it. Ours is decades old and very tarnished but it sounds sweet and if is a family favorite. We have gifted many over the years. We love it.

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with purchase! Great quality. No instructions but had pictures on the box and it was very easy to assemble. Highly recommend!! Brings back childhood memories.

Looks good but very, very thin metal and it easily can bend. It does not turn very fast, and I suspect it is partly because the metal weighs so little, it does not get enough momentum going while spinning. Bells barely are struck and almost inaudible. Probably better to find a real vintage one. Mine from childhood spun really fast and made a loud chime noise.
