If you're in the market for a longboard for cruising and are a beginner or intermediate rider then the ANDRIMAX 41" Longboard Skateboard is a nice fit. The board has a sturdy 8 layer Canadian Maple deck that has just enough flex for a comfortable ride without over flexing. The trucks are mounted through a hole at each end of the board so instead of the board sitting on top of the wheel trucks it hangs off them. The design is different than previous boards I've had but definitely just as sturdy. Between the truck mount to the board and the wheel axle there's a rubber bushing that helps soften the ride and pivot when turning. The board actually turns really well for such a long board and that allows for carving it up really good. The sharp cornering comes in really handy when going down steep grades by allowing you to weave sharply to prevent picking up too much speed. If speed is your game then this board does that well too. The board comes complete and assembled to include the tool required to make adjustments and repairs. As an added touch the wheels light up in motion and look pretty cool, especially in low light.

Reading the product information, questions/answers and reviews on this board can be really confusing. Part of the confusion is because the two boards in the listing are slightly different. The "Bee" model includes a "drop-through" design which is really cool as it lowers the center of gravity since the trucks mount through a hole in the board as opposed to being attached on the bottom. Bottom line is that this is a good starter board for a kid or teen who doesn't know a ton about longboarding. I got it for myself because it seems like a great deal. My son who has been longboarding for years and built his own boards for a while said it was a good quality board although he said that the light-up wheels are "slow" and he'd replace them right away. "Slow" seems like a bonus for me so it doesn't bother me at all. If you are buying it for your son or daughter who is new to longboarding and doesn't know a lot about it, this is a really perfect place to start. If they already have longboards or know a ton about them. Ask their advice before you buy since there are a ton of different types and styles and it is difficult for the uneducated to sort through them all. My only other advice if you are buying this for a gift is to make sure the recipient has someone to ride with. If they don't get 2 so they can have one for other family members or a friend. Longboarding is a very social sport, the difference between this board being something you or your child really get into or it sitting in the garage can be if they have someone to do it with. Overall, very happy with the board, great for a starter board but good enough quality to last the long term. The media could not be loaded. Great solid easy to cruise on and very stable longboard skateboard ► Build Quality and Design Decent build quality. It's not up there with the name brands but for the price its good. There are some parts that show where the quality is a bit off, like the edges of the anti skid top, the finish of the bottom paint but nothing that really affect the ride. It's long, so the board tends to flex a bit when adults stand on it but that's to be expected. I didn't;t particularly liked the design with the holes in the board to attached the wheels (which might affect durability) and the curved and narrow edges design. Wheels are pretty solid and the kids really liked the light up effect. There are suspension dampeners on each wheel mount that do a decent job ► Setup Nothing major here, you get a tool to make sure all the screws are tight before use and you will need to retighten them once in a while. However the protective film is set under the screws and I found I had to release some screws to completely remove the film. ► This board is meant for cruising Don't expect agility, speed or extreme ride here. It's "slow", stable and safe. Which is great for beginners and people who just want to cruise around on flat smooth surface. It will be fine on semi rough surface but it's great. Nonetheless, on the local park it was pretty fun to go around, and my kids (4,6) found it pretty easy to handle and enjoyed it too. ◉ Pros ✅ : Stable easy safe ride, Design, Decent quality, Light up wheels ◉ Cons ❌: Some alit control issues, protective film Overall its a worthy beginners longboard skateboard that will provide lot's of fun for all ages in a reasonable price

This board is smooth and sturdy well balanced I get a good speed with the stock barrings, I can take sharp turns unbelievable. Can't do it with other long boards the turn raidias only goes so much but this board turn raidias goes it's maximum and that's the best part of it all!! Love the black color and design of it, strong deck no worries with that, definitely worth it's value. Great gift idea for sure and the turn raidias is not for beginners.

This has been a great longboard for us (particularly for my boys, who have some basic proficiency in skateboarding but are not experts). My boys love cruising down the streets (we have no sidewalks in our neighborhood) with this. The quality on these seems good, and they've been able to carve turns with ease. The graphics are sharp, the board seems to be well made, and the trucks function smoothly. We loosened the trucks a bit, with the enclosed tool, to allow a bit easier turning (since my boys aren't very heavy), but that was a snap. I leave to more experienced skateboarders to give you a good comparison with other longboard options, but this one has been fun and seems built to last. The light-up wheels are also pretty fun, though they're not as light as the picture might lead you to believe, unless you're doing it in the pitch black. But it's still a fun option, and I expect that we'll get long use out of it.
