I have it for 1.5 years, and use it two times a week on average. It has a long battery life, great blades And powerful motor. I use to clean it every time I finish using it. It takes me 10 min to get a perfect finish bald head if I use to do that every two days. It suits only for short hair as a final finish, after a zero mm haircut. It’s not irritating and I’ve never got cuts. The foil has great quality and after 2+ years of use it’s still fine. I think it’s the best VFM product in this category. This foil shaver is excellent. we bought our first one almost 5 years ago and it was running strong up until we accidentally plugged in the wrong cord. You have to be very careful when packing for a trip as we were not. we grabbed the wrong charger off the bath counter and plugged in a 15 volt charger ( from my Philips trimmer) into the unit that only uses 5 volts. oops totally our fault~ but it seems the industry could make the cord just a bit different for 15 vs 5 volts. Luckily this foil razor is very good in protecting you by self destruction. in any case here are a few pictures to see what's inside this professional unit. Our new unit is working great just as the dead one did for about 5 years till we killed it. easy to use, clean and holds its charge for several uses. well, that is if you use the right cord. ... show more

    • Great Shaver for the Price
My wife bought this for me last Christmas, so I have almost a year of use. As a retired fellow, I no longer have to shave every day, maybe 3 - 4 times a week and have only needed to charge this shaver 4 times in 12 months. It has sort of "boxy" look and feel, but light. I have used Brauns and Panasonics in the past (my previous was a much used Panasonic) and this shaves just as well as any of them. It is no louder than any other shaver I have used. The manufacturer recommends that you brush it out after every use and provides a brush that is way too small for convenience. I just picked up an adult sized toothbrush and brushing it out is a breeze. The only drawback to the shaver is that it does not have a trimmer (it does not say that it does have a trimmer, so no surprise there), but it would be a nice addition. If this one fails, I'll likely get another one of these to replace it. ... show more

    • Smooth shaving!
I'm liking this Andis shaver. I've used a Braun for years. But it didn't give me a truly clean shave. And I have a light beard. So that was even more frustrating. Since I've been using the Andis shaver, I've had the closest shave ever. Even rivaling a razor. It's a great shaver. There are good videos available online that have helped me better understand the best ways to use the shaver and maintain it. The only con I have noticed so far is cleaning is not so straightforward. Plus, it's not to come in contact with water. So, you can't just flush it clean in the sink or shower. That's not a deal breaker for me tho. Good shaver! ... show more

THIS IS CRAZY little shaver makes after shave and maintain my clean face without hassle. The skin feels smoooooothe afterwards and let me tell you.......... mansacping is way easier and no cuts hahah. use your regular trimmer and then use this machine to take out the small hairs after trimmer, don't use it on long hairs, that is not what it design for. ... show more

    • The best I’ve ever tried
I have owned electric razors previously, but never found them even close to a blade shave. Until this one. This razor more than met my expectations: smooth, left no stubble. What more can you ask? I definately recommend this razor, and the price is reasonable!

    • Cheaply made China Shaver
First off, I never really liked electric shavers as they never shaved me as close as a Fusion shaver does. I bought it because a haircut place used one on my ears and that's a lot easier than the Fusion. Or maybe if I'm in a big hurry and need a quick so so shave, I can use it. So it works well enough for those purposes. The bad news is I had the shaver for less than 6 weeks and cleaned it twice and then the top part would no longer click into place. And once you get past so many days, you can't return it. But Amazon was nice enough to work with me and the seller to get it fixed under warranty. But, being an engineer, I got curious why did this work for a while and then not? So I decided to take it apart and look inside. First off, you need a special tool, which I had, that is used to take the screws out on a Playstation. That's a purposeful trick to make it hard to replace the battery yourself, which is a Lithium soldered in type. As soon as I had it apart, I saw the problem immediately. There is a swing lever that the pushbutton on the side controls to release a finger out the side hole that holds the top on. And there is either a spring or spring metal piece that is supposed to allow the lever to extend or retract upon pressing the button. Apparently the spring, with very little use, became dislodged and the top would no longer seat. I was able to repair it. These types of shavers are extremely simple to make. Just a power circuit, a battery, a small motor and an on/off switch. I gave it more stars just because it's probably no better or worse than any other. And for my purposes, it works as designed. It was just frustrating to have it become non functional in less than 2 months. ... show more
