The shorter size is quite a bit wider than I was expecting- which is a positive for being able to fit a hand in it for washing, but a negative for how much space it takes in the cupboard. Our cupboards seem just a tad smaller than we are used to, so every centimeter counts extra for us! But both sizes are a nice weight- not too heavy when full, and not prone to tipping when empty, and the design feels simple but not overly boring. They all arrived intact and after a week or two we still haven't broken any. They are slippery when they first come out of the box, so wash them well and carefully, inside and out. ... show more

I received these just the other day and writing this review on 3/10/2025. I have to say these are quality glasses. The thickness is approx 3mm around rim, so they are not thin and chintzy. lol, to write this review I even went to the extent to see how much the tall glass weighed, and it weighs in at approx 1lb 5.2oz! Now it may be heavy for some, but me thinking always towards the future, we all need some sort of resistance training lol, especially if getting older 😉haha! (technology has took away alot of our natural movements in life, sad) But, the set is well made, the pattern acts as a grip of sorts too, attractive looking, and not going to break if you look at them wrong lol. They sit on flat surfaces fine, no wobble. The only thing I would like different is if the pattern was actually diamond cut to get some sparkle out of it. But that is me being clearly picky 😬😅 Also, on the bottom it is concaved so when in dishwasher you will have water left in that void. Not a big deal. Overall I love the glasses, love the durability of this set, and I would say this is a must have if you like quality things.
