This is a good kit just a couple tweaks needed (include a chain splitter tool add 5.00 to the cost saves most people a trip to get one ) and the instructions need a little help no enough detail and its written like you already have done one already. And no parts list in the front to explain what is what very important to some one who has never installed one of these kits and the 3 hour time frame to install come on it took about 6 hours with the trip to harbor freight to get the chain tool ( yes you can do it with a punch and hammer and a block of wood but can damage the chain). And the gas tank was damaged the mounting tabs were bent 3 out of 5 need better packaging and the 99 cent paint job looked awful runs ever were and why are there 3 throttle cables? brake cables ? very confusing. And just a little back ground of my skill level have been a mechanic for over 15 years small engine, car, heavy equipment and this kit was a bit of a stress maker so if you want good feed back from future customer work on you manual one pats list with item description two clearer description and better step by step so the average person can understand and raise you Est time to assemble its not 3 hours more like 5-6 the average customer expectation on time frame to set enough time to assemble it. ... show more

Second attempt at one of these the first was a disaster. Don't get from iglobalbalbuy. This anbull one is good. Also I recommend a steel bike frame. Not aluminum. Also use thread locker and jb weld steel stick so screws don't vibrate loose. Also google the word "chainline" if you haven't heard it before. The chain needs to run perfectly (almost) straight. Loving this motor kit so far. edit engine died after about 5 months of heavy use. recommended sythetic oil. there was lots of carbon buildup. its worth it to buy a new kit. buying parts separately costs more and you get spare everything. this time around the kit came with upgraded carb and 8mm mounting studs. i recommend #41 chain because its good and you can get offset links. i recommend crc extreme duty open chain and gear lube for the chain. i recommend royal purple full synthetic 2 cycle oil. i also recommend autolite copper non resistor spark plug #4093 edit my review again after riding around in the winter. this thing is still going! i ran royal purple full synthetic at 32to1 all winter. spark plugs get fouled but you can clean them and regap them. i upgraded the fuel line and petcock with a better one from lowes. i kept having the cdi box die on me but i soldered my own wires to it with weather proof epoxy and shrink wrap and crc dielectric grease on the connectors! havent had a problem with the cdi again yet. i put lucas oil red and tacky grease on the bevel gears and clutch actuator bearings. dont let the rust fool you! this is a running engine! honestly I'm impressed! i go through tires and chains and brake pads! its all about the lubrication and proper installation for long equipment life! ... show more

I've had a few of these motors and I can't seem to get them to last more than 2 or 3 months. takes a while to put on a bike, I would recommend getting a hub mount for the sprocket

Overall I'm very satisfied with this motor. It was a project though getting it installed and running. You're going to want to upgrade a lot of parts and if your frame is tight like mine you'll need to get a couple adapters. Also the instructions are minimal at best so for someone who isn't very mechanically inclined this will be difficult. ... show more

I’m very satisfied with this motor kit, All the parts were in the box , it all went together pretty easy . The engine runs real good and with very little vibration. I really like the exhaust pipe / muffler, it looks good and it’s quiet . I think the kit is a real bargain.

Came with instructions, wasn’t broken, and had all the parts. If you’ve ever used tools before and have a basic understanding for how things work this is perfect. It’s durable it starts every time it’s great on gas and I’ve beat the crap out of it. I’ve expected it to break many times but not a single flaw has occurred. If you get a better exhaust it’s a lot faster but at completely stock out of the box it still rips and is quiet a bit of fun. Don’t compare this to a motorcycle because it’s not. But if you want fun that’s reliable and puts a smile on your face it is this. Out of the box mine went right around 27-30 miles per hour. Put a new exhaust on it and now it goes 33. Put a smaller sprocket on the back and it will absolutely rip. Very satisfied. ... show more

The engine uses Philips head which strip and showed up with one already stripped. Luckily I was able to muscle it out then swapped with hex bolts. The carb I was sent wouldn’t stay locked with choke off so would wiggle up during riding into the on position which would cut off the engine. So, Amazon sent me a new kit for me to use the carb. The replacement carb was perfect. Leaks a little oil, but after reading, this is typical of these Chinese engines. The reason I still give it 5 stars even after this is because for this price point, you basically get a motorcycle that doesn’t go too fast for my 10 year old. Starts right up and gets going very good. I bought a different brand engine kit for my first build, this is my second. First build took 5 hours because I didn’t know what I was doing. This build took only 1.5 hours. Both kits visually look the exact same. I’d say it is a good gift if you want something neat. Not sure how long it will last, but my kid and I go riding around no problem. ... show more
