  • Hydronic propress.
Model: HT-1930
Works very well, easy to use, compared to battery operated the price is great.

  • WORKS GREAT! VERY SATISFIED
Model: HT-1930
Bought this in March of 2024 and just got around to using it. Installed tankless water heater and used about a dozen assorted NIBCO fittings from Menards. Pumped until the jaws fully closed and maybe one more to be sure of a full crimp. Not a single leak or issue. Assembled sections on a worktable because of tool weight. A second set of hands is almost required to operate tool and hold fittings in position. ... show more

  • Much better, and easier than I expected!
Model: HT-1930
I am used to the battery powered units, but this thing actually works great! I have been plumbing for 30 years, and the new press fittings are a life saver. My battery unit is out for repair, and this thing works just as good, albeit much slower per crimp. Saved me from having to sweat all day today. 110psi city pressure tested, and approved. ... show more

  • No way to control pressing force
Model: HT-1930
I bought this instead of the mechanical icrimp version so I can get into tight spaces. I setup a test rig with one 1" viega sleeve and one 1/2" viega sleeve, and I pressurized it to 100psi for 14hrs. It failed the test, losing nearly 20lbs in that time. Found a pin hole leak in the 1" sleeve connection. The major issue with this press is that there is no way to know how much pressure is being applied or how far to go. The manual says to apply 80kN, and the tool says 120kN. But there's no way of measuring this force. There's no dial. There's not even a way to calibrate it. So I just pressed until the dies touched. It pinch the copper, which isn't good. I was very careful with alignment too. This thing is useless, plain and simple. ... show more
