My son likes this blender very much. He can mix any fruit he likes with milk. He can make it by himself. The buttons are very simple. Time is fast. I personally plan to make smoothies in summer.

This machine is easy to execute, the buttons on the screen show up when you plug it in, and fairly easy to figure out without a pamphlet which is how I do things first. If I need help then I look at the instructions. The tamp wand does not touch the blades and helps you get your fruit, veggies, and beans unstuck and moving around while it is operating, safely, to ensure optimal mixing and blending everything emulsifies as thick or thin as you would like which is a similar action to muddling with festive drinks. I don't think the pre-programmed settings are necessary but it takes out the guesswork for those who like it matter-of-factly. Good for those who rely on pictures and words together as a visual, which is a nice tool for dyslexia and the disabled who don't have time for complications and pamphlet reading. I am not sure how the ice cream function is going to create ice cream because I have made ice cream the old-fashioned way in a bucket of ice and a churning handle and the electric kind, and the new version with frozen barrels with churns inside on the countertop. I wonder if there is an attachment for this or if they mean to make frozen fruit into sorbet consistency which you could eat right away or pour into a dish and freeze then scoop to eat. I do not have time to look into that and think that function may be mislabeled. That might be my only complaint, and since I am not into looking it up right now you will have to look for a review that talks about ice cream mode for clarification. At best, you can make milkshakes with ice cream for sure. The easiest way to clean this is to fill it with warm water, add a drop of soap or tablespoon of vinegar, and hit the self-cleaning button- with the lid on. Dump it out and rinse it with warm or hot water, drain well, and let it air dry. An impressive blender, large size for many uses. So glad I came across this, our old blender needs to be retired. The blades are not detachable for those who prefer that type- this might not be for you. With it all being one piece really, there are fewer parts to mess with and fewer nooks and crannies to clean. Has an upgraded feel, but if the screen breaks you'll be out of luck on use since there are no physical buttons to press in. They are electronic on a screen. That's kind of neutral for me to look at. Hopefully, it lasts for years, and nothing drops on the screen. Store and use with care.

Picked this up to replace an aging Kitchen Aid unit that has served me very well. The first thing out of the box that is clear is this is a LARGE blender. Base and Canister are large. Generally this is a good thing and for me it surely is but if you have space constraints double check the sizing. It’s BIG. The unit itself presents nicely and the quality is solid though I don’t think the blade to base interlock is as hardy as the old Kitchen Aid. Time will tell but this is the one thing that concerns me. Operationally I’ve ripped ice up no problem so it’s delivery and solid as can be. Speaking of solid one of the things I also noticed is that the coupling with the canister using 4 corner posts is ROCK solid. Like no movement at all. Really nice as the Kitchen Aid its replacing had none of this stability and often felt under load if I wasn’t holding it, it might come off. No chance with this blender. It’s like a mountain rigid. Excellent. Top also excellent out of the box. Tight. Controls and preselects are all excellent. Haven’t run through all the functions but have crushed ice and smoothies and all good and delivers as expected. Manual run options as well and this may likely be were I fall in its use. Sounds is subjective but to mean this one is loud but it is a blender. Good options, good preselects. Rock solid performance… Happy daily smoothie drinker here :). Oh one last thing that I do find odd and I may just be missing something is the on off trigger appears to be a button/switch that it recognizes when the jar is placed on the base. If the jar is off it turns off. Again this maybe normal but I am use to being able to pull the jar off, shakes contents and place back and go and this seems a little wonky on the on/off. Not a deal breaker and likely will get use to it but it functions different than the one it replaces.

I was a little worried about this blender because it only has blades at the bottom, & it has been my experience that they just don't blend as well as the ones with a column of blades, but since my last blender went out & this one was readily available and from a brand that had good reviews on other products i decided to give it a shot. I'm actually really glad that i did because it does a great job with my frozen fruit based smoothies! it blended everything up wonderfully and left absolutely no chunks or inconsistencies. It does sound like a race car is revving it's engine up in my kitchen though, which is not ideal first thing in the morning, but fortunately it is sort of 'set it and forget it' so i can walk away after i press start & it pulses and stops itself. Overall i'm really happy with this blender so far! TLDR:: Only has blades in the bottom, but still blends frozen fruit really well. VERY loud, but pulses & stops itself, so you can walk away if you want.

I drink smoothies every morning so a powerful blender is important to me. It needs to crush the ice and mix the fruit up to a drinkable consistency. This blender delivers. I used the digital touch pad to select the "smoothie" setting. This setting varied the speed of the blades to provide a good combination for mixing. Given that I put a lot of large ice cubes in the blender, the smoothie setting wasn't enough to get the drink to the consistency that I wanted, so I used the handy pulse feature to add a few more seconds of blending. I really like the lightweight pitcher, as it is easier to lift and clean than my old heavy glass blender pitcher. The pitcher also has a non-slip grip handle which is a nice feature when you are blending liquids. This is a large blender, so keep that in mind. It takes up more counter space than my old classic blender.
