I sent this as a gift and the recipient said it was disappointing in it's lack of garlic taste. The shipment arrived fast though, so 4 stars given for that reason.

It is not a bad flavor, it just barely tastes like garlic. I had someone else try it. They had the same reaction. (The also tasted the pesto, by the same company and LOVED it!) If you like your garlic flavor to be almost not there, then this is the garlic paste for you. I would suggest spreading it on bread or crackers. For flavor and convenience, this is the best I’ve found. This has more raw garlic flavor than any jarred minced garlic I’ve tried, and there are no “off” flavors. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth the cost!
