I'm super pleased with the modern matte glaze and shape of both the bowls and the 10" plates. The plates have a half inch lip, not curved - an actual sharp edge lip so it's modern as well as practical for sauces. Quality heavy feel, much heavier than expected so I'll keep using my crazy lightweight corelle for everyday. But these AmorArc are great for entertaining. Stood up to cutting chicken and washed up beautifully in the dishwasher. I gave only 4 stars cuz I haven't had them long enough to warrant 5 for durability. I'm going to purchase turquoise small plates to make setting look nice and tie in my existing but dated turquoise stuff. ... show more

This is my 2nd review. I now want to add 1 star. These dishes are beautiful and just what I was looking for. After a few uses I noticed marks on the dinner plates. The company reached out to me saying these were not scratches but metalic marks from the silverware I was using and that Zud or Bar Keepers Friend would remove them. I used Bar Keepers Friend and it did remove the marks for the most part, after some elbow grease. I will save these dishes for special occasions and company only. Possibly if I were to change out my silverware this would not happen. I am still happy I found these dishes as they are perfect for my modern farmhouse decor. ... show more

I bought these for an outdoor dining table for a Thanksgiving setting. I picked the color blue because the table is poolside and with orange accents on the table the colors will compliment well. I did worry what color the blue would actually be and it was perfect! Sometimes you never know when buying online. It’s a nautical blue, grayish in color. They are a modern look and the weight is perfect, not too heavy or light. They look like stone but not too rustic, smooth and soft appearance. I’m matching these with ivory salad plates.
