This is my 2nd review. I now want to add 1 star. These dishes are beautiful and just what I was looking for. After a few uses I noticed marks on the dinner plates. The company reached out to me saying these were not scratches but metalic marks from the silverware I was using and that Zud or Bar Keepers Friend would remove them. I used Bar Keepers Friend and it did remove the marks for the most part, after some elbow grease. I will save these dishes for special occasions and company only. They are such beautiful plates! Sometimes I get think of scared that they will be different than the pictures, but they look exactly like in the pictures and they are very easy to wash and clean after dinner.

I don’t think you take into account that gifts bought on a registry aren’t shipped to or experienced by the people who buy them. This was a gift to my daughter and soon to be son in law. I happened to see them today when I visited them but I only glanced at them and can’t really give a review other than that they looked nice and I think they’ll get lots of use out of them and appreciate having a matching set of dishes ... show more

Really liked the style of these but after an initial wash I noticed what looked like a water mark dried on the surface. Rubbing it didn't remove it but if I washed it again then it would come off. Not as easy to notice inside the bowls but sticks out with the plates.
