  • Creepy enough for my teens.
It was funny seeing my 15 yo daughter (who actually likes horror type stuff) play this game and ask others for help. She was like, mom can you do this part for me? It sounds too creepy! Lol. I'm like, girl, you better play that game yourself! Lol. My 16 yo daughter who's afraid of everything definitely won't play this game. She gets creeped out just watching her sister walk in the dark hallways/closets in the game. Great purchase for my family! ... show more

  • Good Game
It is a good game. I really like it, I saw some YouTubers played this game a few years ago and it looked good. The one thing I don't get is that box says "T" for "Teens" but the SD card itself says "12" which if you know "T" for "Teen" is the US rating for games and "12" is for EU. The game was warped when I got it so I don't know why the box and the SD card has two different rating, but it does works fine so the rating is not really a big thing for me at all. So if you get this game just to let you know the SD card can have a different rating than the box. ... show more

  • Fun game, albeit very short...
First off I’m a big fan of both horror movies and video games. I’ve been gaming for nearly 40 years now and have played some excellent and very creepy games. Although this game is nowhere near the caliber of a Resident Evil or Silent Hill title, it’s not without its charm. I’d say this is more along the lines of Little Nightmares, although both LN games are by far superior in my opinion. Graphically, it’s not much to look at—it looks like an early Wii game at best, so the atmosphere it creates is what gives it its charm. My main complaint is that there’s just not much content here, the game can easily be beaten in a few hours. There are a whole bunch of drawings that you can find in each level, which when collected, go into a gallery that you can view, but even then they won’t take you very long to find. I also was a bit disappointed that Teddy is never really fleshed out as a character. I would’ve like to have seen a bit more story involving him. Gameplay is super simple, as you assume the role of a toddler there’s not too much you can really do besides crawl, walk and and open doors. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that the game is too scary, and maybe I’ve just been super desensitized over the years, but this game is very mild. Might be a little frightening to a 5 year old, but my son is 8 and there wasn’t anything in the game that scared him. Overall it’s a fun little game, but $35 is a bit high for it. If you can get it for less than $20, I would recommend it. There’s one final thing I want to talk about, and it’s the part of the game that of really impressed me the most—the ending. WARNING: SPOILERS! I absolutely have to hand it to the devs on this one. In our day in age of “man bad”, “evil father patriarchy” and “toxic masculinity”, I gotta say that revealing in the end that the mother was both an abusive alcoholic monster and the main antagonist of the game definitely threw me for a loop. Having the father as the good guy was the icing on the cake. I actually played the entire game thinking that the opposite was going to be the case, and it really was a nice twist. It also ended up being some pretty heavy subject matter for what I felt was a game aimed more towards kids. The ending was definitely the high point for me. In conclusion, I would recommend this game if you can get it at a decent price, it’s really not worth $35. If you’re looking for a creepy game aimed more towards older kids, I’d stick to Little Nightmares. ... show more
