This mat is great for keeping my counters dry and is very high quality in terms of thickness and durability. It doesn’t move at all which I like and forms a good seal with the counter so it doesn’t get dirty underneath. My only grief with it is that the water dries and turns white and it is nearly impossible to clean it off. It always has a murky look to it because of this. At first I thought I wasn’t rinsing my dishes enough, but that is not it. If it were easier to clean or wipe down I wouldn’t mind, but I end up just leaving it because it is such a hassle to clean. That being said, I haven’t found a better alternative yet

This item wasn't as great as I was expecting and I guess not what I wanted after all. I thought this would be a better option than what I currently use. I liked that it was silicon and thought it would dry quicker and be easy to clean but that's not the case. It just holds all the water and it doesn't dissipate like I thought it would. It's not terrible to clean but I have hard water so I have to make sure to really get into the grooves to get the calcium cleaned off. Size was way small for me but that's my own fault for not paying attention. I cannot comment on heat resistance because I have not used heat other than hot water on it. Overall I would not buy again. I am sure someone else might love it but it wasn't right for me.

Holy macerals. I have gone through i think 4 mats for drying dishes. It all started with the rubber silicone ones. I was like, you know this would be a great idea because the you can just rinse it off and be done with it. So, if you ever seen rubber left outside for anything or it has come into contact with the evil water Lords, you would know that once it is drying that it has these nasty white marks. Yeah, I don't know why I didn't think of that. So, went and bought another drying mat, it was silicone too! Wanted to kick my own forehead. So this time I made sure do it right.
