As an avowed popcorn addict, I can say that this is the best at-home popcorn I've found. You'll not get movie-theater style out of this, but it pops up wonderfully in a silicone microwave popcorn popper I use. I've tried several varieties from this brand, and all of them are good, but this is my favorite because of the flavor and texture. It pops up tender and fluffy, with a slight sweet and natural corn flavor. It also pops very consistently, with usually fewer than 5 unpopped kernels. Much healthier than the artificially-flavored microwave popcorn alternatives, plus with this you can season it however you like. I light drizzle of butter and a sprinkle of salt is all that's needed. I'd definitely recommend!

This popcorn is one of my favorites. I like it better than the hull-less varieties because of its sweet buttery flavor. It doesn’t take much salt or butter to make it taste great. It also pops very well in the microwave. There aren’t many whole kernels left. Because of that result, I never need to pop this on the stove with oil.

My wife is a huge popcorn lover , and I had gotten to her an air popper a while ago , and we had been trying many different heirloom and boutique popcorn varieties, but they never seemed to measure up to the quality standard we desired. Then I took a chance on this particular one and our search was over. I am unaware how good this would be popped in a cast iron skillet, but I can tell you that this is the best popcorn I've had in the air popper, period. The popped kernels are both flavorful in a non-bitter way and crunchy with a good soft and low density flesh making this a very light and crisp experience . I prefer to put powdered cheddar cheese on this , but don't overlook using both butter flavored popcorn salt and actual good quality melted butter on this simultaneously, and that would be the quintessential preparation. Turn on a good movie put this in your air popper and have a great home theater experience . Enjoy.

I love this popcorn! I keep it stocked. Good value for the money. Easy to use in my popcorn maker. Great size kernels! Much healthier than microwave popcorn. Very little hulls. Highly recommend.

This was fine quality popcorn but nothing particularly outstanding about it. It popped up just fine using hot oil and a pan with the lid vented. I doubt I'd be purchasing it again as I can buy bulk organic popcorn at a local natural foods store for less than half the price that is about the best popcorn I've ever had and used in my 70 plus years of loving good popcorn. My other complaint, they put a bar code sticker right over the directions on the bag and it was very hard to remove. I always like to read the directions just in case there is something special or an unusual suggested way to pop the corn. There wasn't but I wanted to make sure and frankly, covering up the directions showed a wanted disregard for the end user.

Every Colonel in the bag pops. It’s the best tasting popcorn I’ve ever had. I’m going to continue to order this because it’s my all-time favorite popcorn

The first bag of Amish Country Popcorn we purchased was great—fresh, flavorful, and popped really well. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to buy a much larger bag, expecting the same experience. Unfortunately, the second bag was very disappointing. The popcorn tasted stale and bland, and many of the kernels didn’t pop all the way. We were especially disappointed because we had such a great experience with the first bag and ended up with such a huge bag that we cannot use. To make matters worse, we were unable to exchange it. We really wish we had received the same fresh quality as the first bag. Hopefully this was just a bad batch.
