I live in an apartment and my balcony overlooks an intersection in the complex. I have no privacy. Putting this screen up gave me that for just sitting out there and I can still somewhat see through it. I ordered the size I needed so it fits perfectly. Also it blocks the afternoon sun for part of the balcony. It was easy to put up with the included zipties. I've had a larger 10x12 screen like this before by this same brand, covering a larger patio and when I took it down, it was like brand new after getting full sun for several months. I moved and gave it to my daughter. The material does cut out the sun enough to make a big difference in temperature when used for full coverage like the one I gave my daughter. This one only covers my railing at 4x9ft which is what I wanted at this apartment.

Absolutely love this brand! The quality is exceptional it's very durable especially where the grommets are. They have four grommets on each corner which makes it great to attach it to the top pole and the side pole of the fence. I love that you can customize the length of this previously I did not customize and it looked like crap. This year I've been able to buy a panel for each section of fence and it looks amazing. Before I purchase this last one I purchased another brand and it was absolutely horrible the material was much thinner and it was supposed to be 4 ft tall and it ended up being about 4 ft 5 in so it was really saggy looking on the fence. I like it to look smooth on the fence and this one does exactly that! One thing to note is you do have to watch the zip ties because over time they will fail so I have got some fence wire and put it every now and then with the zip ties to make sure a portion doesn't flap off. Another thing to know is where they tie your chain link onto the top post make sure that that is pointing away from the fabric or it will tear it from the wind blowing and stuff like that it will catch it on there so walk along your fence post and anywhere that they've tied the chain link fabric to the top post push it away from your privacy screen so it doesn't get caught on it when it's windy. I hope this all made sense because I do talk to text LOL

We bought one 50’x4’ section of this to attach to the wire fence that exists between our neighbor’s yard and ours. They have two very noisy, aggressive larger dogs, and we have a smaller noisy, aggressive miniature schnauzer that thinks he owns the world. We couldn’t get ours to shut up when he saw their dogs, and their’s wouldn’t shut up when they saw ours. I put up an high frequency bark deterrent which stopped their barking, but we essentially lost the ability to walk our dog on that part of our property due to the constant friction between the dogs. We decided to try this without great optimism that the fabric would hold up, since we live in one of the windiest parts of one of the windiest states in the country. We were very pleasantly proved wrong. It has endured gale force winds, freezing rain and snow, and is no worse for the wear. It was easy to install, is very sturdily made, and does exactly what we need it to do. In fact, I just ordered another 50’ section to install further up the fence to provide even more separation of the canines. If it can withstand our weather it can probably endure any conditions anywhere, short of a tornado. We’re very pleased with the purchase and recommend it to those in similar situations.

Well I gave it 4 stars because of a couple things. I had 3 of the eyes sort of tear out a little, not all the way but enough I had to stop pulling it any tighter. You can still see thru it and I was hoping it would have been darker and not as see thru but hey I'm hoping it will work for what I need with 3 big dogs behind our house and our two small dogs, it's a bark feast everyday out back. Only other thing I could do is is use a brown tarp over it to make it not so see thru. But I like that the fabric is pretty thick and hope it holds up a couple years. And buy your self some longer Zip Ties, you'll need them because at you corner post their to short and their sort of cheap really so I used my own from HF and put two in each eye for just in case of breaks, you'll see what I mean if you buy this you'll need longer and more Zip Ties. The ends are made pretty good and plenty of eyes to start and hold it tight as you pull going down the fence as I did. Added 10/26/2020, Since installing fabric I see that when the Sun shine come's around behind us in the South I see that the German Shepherds behind us sort of can see our two small "Havanese Pups" which it isn't as bad but if they get close enough the bigger 6 foot tall German Shepherd will just stand up on the fence to start doing his barking. While in the hospital the last 4 days our neighbor compliment on the fabric to my wife the other day saying that was a great ideal and he seen also that it's needs to be thicker and asked my wife where I got it. He told her that he was going to order one myself for his side an see if it will help better. But people this isn't cheap fabric it is kind of thick and should hold up to some good winds as long as you attach it correctly with enough Zip Ties , make sure to get at least 11 inches sizes you won't regret it for sure and as I did I had some thicker 18 inch ones to use at the starter posts at the end that are thicker and the ones you receive aren't long enough. I will be buying another 50 footer to continue farther down the fence line so it's harder for the dogs as where his fence ends about 10 foot from where my 50 foot ends so I'll be another 40 feet passed the end of his fence that ties into my fence. I hope this helps someone and especially about sizes of Zip Ties. Brown is a pretty dark color but it has small holes thru out panel after you install it. Took me 3 hours alone and I double Zipped Tied every hole and it's good and tight without "Wrinkles, yes it can and looks better to boot! as I see in some picture. It can be made tight enough without wrinkles.

This product works great, I only did part of the fence line just to see what it would look like. I have two dogs that just bark and bark whenever the neighbors come out. I added up how much this would cost to line my entire fence line, less than $300 vs $25,000 to put in an actual privacy fence, note on I live on .3 acres, so the back yard is pretty large. I noticed as I was putting this up that my fence isn’t as straight nor is the ground the same height in some places. It worked best for me to start at the top and do all those grommets first before completing the sides and bottom. Because my ground and fence is uneven, I ended up doubling up the ground side and using stakes as well to hold it in place. It takes awhile to do this by yourself, and when the wind decides to pick up it’s a pain in the butt. All in all I’m happy I did it, next time I’d like to get it out of the box and let it sit open a bit, so there’s not so much scrunchies and lines in it. I have already ordered a second order, my first order was the 4 foot, this order is the 3 foot. I live in a cold snowy state so I’ll update in six months with how the weather affects it.

I ordered the white screening. I had seen some reviews saying that it was too translucent. We did not find that to be true. We walked half way down our alley to see if from far away you could see through it because up close you could not, and it still blocked out what was on the other side. Our neighbors on the other side of our yard have a mess in there yard that the city may have to take down the fence between us for a while. When I know it is safe, I am going to order another one for that fence as well. I was very pleased with the results. Update: When I read the reviews on this before the purchase there were several that commented about the ties not being strong enough to hold the screen. I have one screen that is between some buildings and has added protection; this one has done fine with the zip ties that came with the screening so far. However, the second one we bought is unprotected when the wind comes up and the zip ties have broken under the pressure of wind. I had purchased Eveo heavy duty zip ties that were 12 inches long, 7.6mm wide, and 1.52mm think just in case. At one point after some wind a month or so ago, I had to replace some broken zip ties so I used the Eveo brand ties. Today we are having sustained winds of 45 mph. Every single zip tie that came with the screen had broke loose. The only thing holding the screen on the fence were the Eveo ties I had used to mend places a couple of months ago. So my recommendation is to buy the heavy duty ties to start with unless you have a protected place you are using the screen.
