TRANSFORMATION: Alot of bang for your buck! ldilapidated wood fence with livestock wire and wire mesh. Going in my back yard has been a bone of contention looking at this eye-soar. During the summer I took it upon myself to rebuild my retainer wall and do something affordable to make the area more esoteric. I researched and decided on the hunter green mesh 6’ x 50’. I just finished that project and my daughter, am interior designer opposed to me using this product as exclaimed when she received the picture ,THAT’S the MESH????!!” Yes it is and it’s better than I could have hoped. I will say I like it very taught against the old fence and I used wood screws every few inches top and bottom but still thrilled with both the functionality and design. We also have had winds over 60 mph and didn’t even phase my installed privacy screen. I am going to invest in more to “green up” the block walls because esthetically it’s very pleasing. My intention now is to hang artwork and bamboo walls lanterns directly onto the fence through the mesh to continue my succulent obsession. I also split a piece of bamboo to cover and finish each end. Here are a few before and afters. I LOVE how this project turned out and the mesh is super strong very well made and grommetted. This was such a great privacy screen until the wind came. We had it on a total of 2 days. We zip tied every grommet, stretched it tight and made sure it was flat against the chain link. On the first day of hard wind it completely ripped the whole thing off. We cant even reuse it as most of the grommets have ripped through the fabric. In the description it does say it is air and water permeable but I guess only to a certain extent. If you live anywhere that does get pretty windy on occasion and I mean not hurricane status but just a regular tough windy day, I highly suggest not wasting your money. At the beginning of 2021,we were unfortunately blessed with drug dealers moving in next door to us. As time passed, they had gained squatters as well. 3 years ago when we bought our house, the backyard fence was not complete. It was on a huge to-do list to finish it. One morning we woke up to find that someone next door had attempted to climb the 4ft wire property fence, grabbed one of our 4x4 posts for support and snapped it. Well, needless to say, we needed a fence NOW! We knew that a wooden fence would be too expensive. As soon as we saw this, we immediately bought it! The price was perfect. We also bought new 4x4 made of composite. This arrived on Memorial Day, 3 days ahead of schedule. It was so easy to install. My husband and I did it in a few hours. We got the 6x50 length and have some leftover. It attached to the posts by screws. Now, we have a peace of mind knowing that drug addicts cannot come into our yard and steal our possessions for their next hit. I have almost 3 acres and share a property line with an apartment complex. I hate it. There is my chain link fence and their busted up trashy wooden fence. Some places no fence. People and children walk up and stare into my property. Because that is the sort of people that are. Manners and tact don’t exist. Not anymore! I originally bought two for the area right by my house.     • Quick Easy Improvement for $50!

I just bought a row house with a nice fence on one side of the back yard and a chain link on the other. It’s an urban area and I didn’t like the lack of privacy on the chain link side. And to be totally honest, I wasn’t crazy about the neighbor’s random mess of a patio. Until I finish some construction and can put in a nice fence, this will be perfect. It looks way better than I thought and I installed it by myself. (I’m 5’2” and a 53 year old female for reference.) I had planned on using this doubled on my fence but a single layer was plenty and allowed for nice air flow. It’s not 100% private but even in bright sunlight, it’s about 80-90% privacy. I actually cut mine because it was longer than I needed and had enough left over to cover my back gates at the alley. A fabulous quick improvement for just $50. I’m thrilled. ... show more

I purchased this because I have a 6' iron (actually aluminum) fence approximately 125' long. Vertically it fit fine-yes it's not exactly 6' and the seller tells you that. I secured it with the supplied tyraps; it's been on for around 2 weeks and I have no issues. I am fortunate that I have arborvitaes evergreens near my fence so they break the wind as I know other purchasers had issues with wind damage. Across the street from me there is a construction site that used a similar product and after a year it started tearing. It is difficult to see through but it does allow air and water to permeate. What I wasn't aware of is the it comes in different lengths-had I known that (and it's my own fault for not being observant), I would have purchased the exact lengths I needed.
