We have 2 small dogs, both rescues, and one has a territorial anxiety issue. He feels threatened by anyone that comes into our house, yard, or that he can see from our yard. The house behind us has been vacant for a few years, and we have a cyclone fence between yards. He didn’t bark at the dog that used to live there because he was introduced to him when we first brought him home. Fast forward 2 years and new neighbors move in with their dog, and mine went berserk! He runs to the fence line the minute we let him out and sometimes starts barking before he gets there in anticipation, even if the neighbors dog isn’t there. The neighbors don’t go into the backyard very often, but when they do, he goes off on them too. My other dog doesn’t care, he just wags his tail and watches the show. After being aggressively barked at, the neighbors dog will start barking back. It’s a contestant loud headache to deal with and I’m not one to let my dog bark, as it’s disrespectful to my neighbors. So I took a chance after reading the reviews and bought this privacy screen. It was super easy to install. We bought thicker zip ties as recommended by other reviewers, and I’m glad we did. I was afraid it wouldn’t work because you can still slightly see through it but it’s cut the barking by 90%. After a week he’s stopped running to the fence. When the other dog is there he can’t see him very well (dogs have 20/75 eye sight), so now he may let out one or 2 barks and do a couple soft whimpers and it’s over. I don’t have to run outside anymore and try to get my dog back inside the house. His anxiety level has dropped so much and he seems so much more content and happy like he was before the neighbors moved in, and so am I. I will be buying this to cover more areas of the fence. It looks nice too. We bought the black fence. If you have a barking problem give it a try! ... show more

I purchased this windscreen as a deterrent to dogs barking at the neighbors. Not only does it work well for that, it's a terrific wind deterrent! It appears to be a strong fabric and looks like it will last a long time. It was very easy to install, just a word of caution...do not tighten the enclosed zip ties until the entire screen is up and where you want it. Also, make sure to stretch it slightly when installing. We got this screen because we wanted to add some extra privacy to our backyard. We didn't have a chain link fence so we made a simple frame for the screen out of wood. We found that one screen was a little see-through so we bought a second screen and attached it right on top of the first to make a second layer. Now it's perfect! We did have a size issue with the second screen however, customer service was outstanding and took care of it! After purchasing TWO screens, lumber & concrete to make the fame the total price was around $350 for a 65 foot "fence"!! I needed something temporary while in my rental, so I purchased this to attach to the wood fence. The fence is old and has slots large enough to see through. My neighbors dog is aggressive towards my two dogs, so every time I would let my dogs out potty, he would go crazy at the fence. I installed this with the zip ties provided, plus extras. I only put it where the dogs would run the fence. So far, it's holding up through the wind. The neighbors cannot see through it and neither can their dog. It hasn't prevented all aggressive behavior, but has helped immensely. And I like that I have a little more privacy. ... show more

My neighbors have SIX dogs. It stands to reason they've made a bit of a mess in their yard. My main issue though is all the barking whenever we're outside. The privacy panel on the gazebo works great but doesn't help unless we're IN the gazebo. So thrilled to have run across this little gem and even more thrilled to find it actually works! We only just put it up yesterday, but once we did, we didn't hear a peep from those dogs! Well, at least when it came to barking at our every move anyway. Time will be the deciding factor on durability, but so far I'm happy with the look, quality, and functionality of it. It actually does a really good job of limiting visibility. Definitely a good alternative to replacing the chain link with a privacy fence, especially since it's just that one side I want to block out. Which leads me to add, it really doesn't look bad having just one side done. Overall, I'm very pleased. My only problem is: 1) I don't have a bottom fence rod to attach the screen to, so I fastened it to the bottom links, and 2) the ground is higher on one side of the fence line making the screen a bit too long in that area. I've wrapped it around a spare fence rod for now to keep it snug and will figure out how to improvise later. ... show more

I love this privacy screen. I was having a hard time with my young golden. I would take her out to do her thing and she would be distracted by every car, person, chipmunk that came near. Sometimes you just need to get it done and go inside. This thing is magic. The light comes in, it looks nice, we have had several compliments on it, and potty time is quick and easy. We did cut it. Then we used flex seal tape on the raw edge. That works great and the entire fence is neatly covered. I heartily recommend this. ... show more
