Edit. I received another as a gift and it works great! The first one just must have been a lemon. My new one works everytime and is fun, great to have, and easy to use. Just watch out, you'll probably get sprayed by the kids. 😊 ------ I bought this product, put batteries in it, and tried it and it worked. I get it to the bathtub and it won't work at all. Sounds like the motor is burnt up or I don't know what. It's very loud and it absolutely no water will come out of the spray part. Can’t rave about this adorable baby shower head enough. Not only is it portable but it’s so fun and colorful. My boys love it. It makes bath time so easy versus having to pull down head and bulky shower heads. Not only that but if you don’t have a shower head that comes off then this is your solution. The pressure of the wash is perfect even for the newborn stage. I was worried about a battery/power in the bath but the space where the battery is stored is so secure and have had no issues with water leaking into it. Purchased for three-year-old grandson who dreads bath time and getting his hair washed. I should’ve paid more attention to the description and the recommended age for this product. It’s wonderful to use on infants and young toddlers for rinsing their hair and body. However, the tubing is not long enough to rinse an older toddler’s hair because the elephant needs to stay in the water for the shower to work. Therefore, he plays with the elephant and it’s a good distraction while his hair is being washed. We don’t use it exactly for what it was intended, but it works perfect for us. This item would be an awesome baby shower gift. Definitely wish I had known about it when my grandson was an infant. ... show more

I absolutely love this and so do my kids! It’s so easy and fun to easy and works so well! Our shower doesn’t have a detachable shower head so we tried this out over using a cup that was just hard to control and the kids hated. I will say I do use a separate tub of water for it so that it’s always drawing clean water and also as a “just in case” precaution though so far we’ve had 0 issues! I will say it doesn’t work super great for thick/long hair as the pressure isn’t super high but it still gets the job done well with a smidge (running hands through the hair to work through the thickness) of assistance! I love this thing. It sprays fairly consistently, the first batteries I installed lasted about 3 months, and both the baby and the toddler LOVE it. It's great for introducing water on the face as well as keeping baby warm enough in the bath without filling it all the way. My only real gripe is that it isn't weighted-- it floats around, sometimes bringing itself too high to properly pump water. However, it conveniently sits under the Angelcare bath seat with the hose coming out of the hole in the side. I haven't cleaned it yet. Right now I stop using it anytime there are solid particles in the water that may clog it. I also try to be aware that unlike using a shower head, I'm spraying the baby with recycled water. So any unsanitary messes typically use the shower instead. I've dropped it once and it survived, though it got a little obnoxious sounding. ... show more

This worked great at first! Was very useful! But after a couple of months it stopped working as well. It sounds like it is sucking up the water but it doesn’t spray anything out. We also started to notice some dark spots around the tube part of the hose. I was worried these were signs of mold so we had to discard of it but it is too late to try to get a replacement. The product only lasted for 3 weeks until it stopped working. I opened it up to change the batteries and it seem to have an oxicated liquid inside which I assume it was from the lack of water seal on the product. I proceeded on installing new batteries for it to do the same in 3 days. Decided it was not worth it and got rid of it. Would not recommend, waste of money ... show more

This is a very good product for young children taking a bath! I bought one for my 5vyear old when he was born. He is 5 now & his one finally wore out. He had to have anothervone!! He loves it. It's durable and fun.
