This is a great screen protector. Very easy to apply, fits the screen great with no noticeable gaps at the edges. My phone ended up falling really hard on some jagged rocks and while the screen protector cracked, my phone screen did not. Highly recommend.

    • Installation Guide Needs Improvement

I've been using amFilm screen protectors since the iPhone 7 and they continue to provide good low cost protection. And the current installation guide frame is a great improvement over the old "hinge" method. But quality control is lacking regarding the frame's fit and protector placement. PROBLEMS 1) As to protector placement, it is not well centered within the guide frame. Since its placement on the phone is relative to the frame, this misalignment is then transferred to the phone after installation. It’s not off by much, but since the screen protector barely covers the lit portion of the phone’s display, some color fringing may be visible along one of the top or side edges. 2) As to fit, the guide frame is positioned and centered on the phone by plastic tabs on all four sides. These tabs slide along the sides of the phone when putting the guide frame on. The trouble is it fits too tightly when fully seated onto the phone. While they will flex to fit properly when enough pressure is applied, they may also scratch the side of your pristine new phone in the process. SOLUTIONS 1) Regarding the protector placement, visually check the guide/protector assembly before installation. Look closely at the spacing between the outside edges of the screen protector and the inside surface of the frame’s alignment tabs. That spacing distance should be the same for each pair (8 in all) of opposing tabs. If not, you can realign the protector to the alignment frame. They are temporarily held together by small patches of adhesive at the four corners. Simply and slowly press the protector away from the frame towards the phone side of the guide being careful not to cause the front protective film to separate from the glass protector. You probably will only need to (and want to) do this at two corners at a time. That will keep the protector attached, but allow you to shift the protector enough to correct a slight misalignment. Pick the two corners next to whichever pair of tabs you’re trying to adjust. 2) Regarding the guide frame, first test how snuggly it fits on your phone as-is. If it slips on easily up to its built-in stops and is fully seated, you don’t need to do anything. But if it only partially fits before requiring significant force to fully seat, stop and remove it. Grab the frame along opposing sides and “gently” twist and hold them for a few seconds in the directions that would move the tabs away from the phone. Do this for each pair of opposing tabs (side-to-side and top-to-bottom) to loosen the tight fit. Keep in mind it’s only plastic, so be careful not to break it. It will also tend to spring back to it’s original (tight) shape after a short while, so do this just before attempting to install it on your phone. If you’re not picky about your protector’s alignment, the alignment guide will do an adequate job out-of-the-box and probably not scratch your phone in the process. If you are, I hope this helps. Durable tempered glass screen protector that is easily applied and looks great. Resists scratches and feels smooth. Be sure to peel off the inner cover carefully so you don't remove the screen protector from the applicator frame! I purchased the one from my carrier that they replace for free with my insurance and I was replacing it every month due to scratches that were reducing the visibility of the screen.     • Withstood tile & a toddler!

My 16 month old daughter threw my brand new iPhone 15 pro max hard onto the tile floors in my kitchen from her high chair.(totally my fault for accidentally leaving in her reach)The protective glass was shattered on both front & over my cameras, I was positive that my screen would be damaged underneath but it wasn’t. Not a scratch! I couldn’t believe it. So I took off the damaged one & used the second one in the pack. It’s so easy to put on. You just clean your phone & place it in the plastic guide holding the protector & the follow the arrows & push down firmly. Then remove the plastic guide & done. I do an extra step using the provided squeegee tool to just push the screen protector down more firmly & push out any air bubbles, if any. I got this same brand for my mom’s android phone & I bought another pack to have on hand just incase. I’m so impressed with the protection this gives. You can’t tell it’s even on honestly. It doesn’t interfere with the touchscreen like some protectors I’ve bought in the past. It fits the screen perfectly & the screen is still just as bright as it would be without it. The price, come on, what a great deal & you receive 2! This is by far the best in my opinion & will be the only one I use going forward. I also like if you register this product & it does crack they will send you a replacement for free. When a company stands behind their product like that you know it will be a good one. ... show more

The installation is a breeze, couldn't be easier. The toughest part is ensuring a dust free environment. After that, it's literally a 10 second job. The glass is perfectly aligned and fit very well with the Spigen case for the iPhone 15 Pro. The camera lens protector also installed easily, but it's not a flush installation for some reason. Fits over the lens but the rest of it seems to not be making full contact. So that's a fail. I'll have to look for just the lens protectors. If there was a half star rating, this would get 3.5 stars, but as is it's a weak 4. For the price though, this is tough to beat regardless of the camera lens protector issue. ... show more
