The media could not be loaded. I really like it! Now, I am pretty handy as I am an engineer. It took no time for me to recognize I would need a power drill and that the Allen wrench would be insufficient (or maybe I’m just lazy) lol, I chose to work smarter and not harder. All the pieces were in the kit and nothing was missing. Two of the wooden pieces came busted, but once I completed the build, those busted parts faced the inside and honestly did not impact appearance. However, because I didn't know that at first, I did contact customer service and they sent me replacements with zero hassle. Anyway, as you can see in the video, the stand is beautiful and the fireplace does give off real heat. It's perfect for LA’s winter nights and some cooler days. Box is very heavy. I ended up having the drivers leave it in my garage and brought it in piece by piece as needed during assembly. Assembly took my about 2.5 hours. Very easy to do if you can follow directions. (Although M should state which side faces which direction. Finished side faces in). Soft sided hammer and Phillips screwdriver were all I needed. Going to need a short handled screwdriver though in a few spots such as attaching the hinges inside the cabinet. As for the fireplace it works excellent. I’m highly impressed with this piece. It looks absolutely fantastic and high quality. Very heavy, about 100 lbs, so it’s very stable. I had picked out a different one but because of where I have to put it this was the only one with dimensions small enough to fit. I’m so glad I bought this one. I’ve told everyone they need one of these. Worth every penny! ... show more

Box is heavy. Took 2-3 hours to put together. Instructions are easy to read but they don't mention the finishing sides on a few pieces so I had to go back and flip a couple. The bottom side of the top piece came cracked but I didn't want to go through the process of exchanging it since it didn't show I just kept it. Very happy with the finishing product. Cabinet space is very slim but I managed to fit what I needed in them, tuned upright for some items. Very please overall. Can't beat the price with a fireplace included. My boyfriend put this together on his own in about 2.5/3 hours. Looks great and does the job. The hole in the back for cords is a little small. His only complaint is that the fire looks more artificial than he would like but then again, it is not a real fire lol. Heat works well, saw complaints about the noise but it honestly isn't bad at all. ... show more

Overall this is a solid unit and it seems very nice and sturdy. I had 2 engineers help me put it together and they took roughly an hour or less to do it. One problem. The wood screws used to hold the top front panel are TOO LONG and they pushed up and deformed the laminate. It looks pretty bad, but we covered it with a sound bar before my wife saw. She would have been displeased. It is a solid value, and the instructions said it was made in Tiffin, Ohio. Maybe but if so that is a plus to me. The fireplace looks nice and the unit is compact and doesnt take up a lot of room. We have a 50” TV on it and it could hold a 55”. BUT I changed the review to 3 stars as after 2 months the fan is starting to get pretty noisy when the heater is on. ... show more
