Arrived fast. Upon putting together, many scratches dents on the pieces. More cracks created very easily when putting screws in. Could deal with most. But then the major piece of the whole desk is cracked and bent. Customer service is great about sending a new one out but it’s going to be several weeks before getting it. Defeats the whole purpose of buying something prime. Desk does not seem very stable, but can’t even use it until I receive the broken piece. Overall, kind of easy to put together but a lot was frustrating as some of the screws don’t fit any screw driver, as they either don’t match with each groove or have been grinded down to present no groove. Which also explains why this may not be stable since unable to screw everything tight. Disappointed in this purchase, but hopefully it gets the job done when and if ever the other piece arrives.

I ordered two of these because my fiancé and I moved into a new place and we liked the style and price, and we both needed desks with upper storage space. I ordered mine first and he decided to go for the same one. Most desks with hutches cost a fortune. This desk is the perfect size- it isn’t too huge or overwhelming and the individual pieces are pretty lightweight. Unfortunately mine came with parts damaged- there’s a huge, obvious scrape through the wood on one of the pieces. Fortunately it’s on the underside of one of the upper shelves, but unfortunately I look up and see it all of the time. Otherwise the parts were intact and all of the screws were present which was the important part. Overall I’m happy with it.

I'm not the one who assembled it, so I'm sort of guessing on the assembly based on the amount of frustration I heard (so, 3 or 4 stars out of 5); it's a little wiggly but not like I'm worried it'll fall over. I've been really careful to not let water sit on it but nonetheless I'm already getting that bubbling effect (for context, it's been a bit under three months) that pressboard or whatever it's called gets. None of this really surprises me, given the price bracket. It's as described and arrived in good condition, and looks nice. I've received impressed comments from friends (I'm in college) before explaining no, really, I bought it because it was cheap. Haven't found a good way to utilize the underneath space to the corner side yet; right now I have drawers under there but it makes them hard to access. In all, if you're aware of what you're buying you can proceed with confidence.

This desk is great for the price paid. It took quite a while to assemble, I took my time and I would say about 4 hours. But that was with me doing it mostly on my own, when my boyfriend helped the last steps flew by, some parts are heavy to put together so I’m thankful I had someone there to help, as I feel like I may have broken things otherwise trying to lift ans position correctly. I would give this 5 but there were 2 big problems. 1) it came with small damages (see pictures) 2) it came with wrong parts, thankfully the parts that were missing were not necessary to put the desk together. So I was able to put it together, then email the place for replacement parts (the place was great, all i had to do was fill out an order form and I got the parts shipped to me for free).

It took 5 days to even process my order (contrary to the 1-2 that I was expecting to wait) and another WEEK for it to get here, even though I ordered express shipping. When it arrived the package outside was undamaged but opening it up, one of the boards (the decorative curved piece on top) was cracked in half. I would have tried to repair it but it wouldn't fit back together anymore. Not to mention there's numerous scratches/dings on the wood in several other spaces. I tried to assemble it and then move it to where I wanted, but fair warning: do NOT try to move it by yourself. If the legs snag on the carpet in any way then the boards will bend and warp, ruining the stability of the whole piece. It doesn't shake too much once assembled and put in place, but it was hell trying to wait for a workdesk that should have been here a week ago and having it arrive broken/damaged. A decent desk, overall, with a suitable amount of space I suppose. But be aware that the pieces aren't packed with a lot of care and there'll be some cosmetic damage when you get it. Or at least, there was with mine. Not worth the price, for how long I had to wait for it; there's similar desks for much cheaper available.

Great desk! Assembly took a bit, make sure u have space to work and possibly an extra set of hands for moving and lining up the heavy boards. It was also difficult to find the letters on all the pieces as not all of them have stickers, some boards have writing on the edge and its very faint. Anyway, once its set up, it works like a charm. I am an author and bit of a chaotic mess when it comes to my desk, but theres plenty of space for all my chaos and it still offers a lot as far as under desk storage space and a multipurpose desk top area on the L lip part. Will be buying more furniture from here!

You probably won't be able to find an l-shaped table with a hutch at the price point of this table. All the pieces of this table are either cardboard or particle board with textures on them. It's fairly light compared to other tables of its' variety and the table top has plenty of space, but shelves lack some depth. Fair warning though, the material is easy to bend/crack. Overall, it's a great bang for your buck.
