This unit is very heavy and goes together nicely. It is MDF wood but does not look like it. It has a beautiful easy to clean surface. Won’t be able to really test the heater until the weather cools off. Just turned it on for a minute & it did blow nice warmth.

I love the fireplace. It takes a little while to heat up. It has a. I Elyse lite flame that is separate from the heat so you could just turn the flame on. It was easy for my husband to put together. Would definitely recommend

I love this tv stand, and it stands out beautifully in my livingroom. It took about 2hrs to put together. It wasn't complicated at all, and it's just a matter of following the directions. It was delivered carefully, with nothing broken, or missing. It is very sturdy, and nicely built, and it's worth the money I paid. The fireplace works very well, and is beautiful to watch. There's lots of storage for my equipment, decor, and other items. I will be purchasing another one soon for my bedroom!! ... show more

Ok...it came yesterday and I lugged it into the house. Unboxed it today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the packaging. All pieces were there and in good shape. The directions were ok, just pics but it wasn’t hard. It took me right at three hours to do this myself but I took my time, studying the directions before putting pieces together. This thing has a good fit and finish to it. It’s a really sturdy piece. Not the typical Sauder stuff. It is kinda dark but like someone else pointed out, when the sun hits it, some really pretty reds come out. The fireplace...well now. The heater puts out pretty good heat. The “logs” are pretty cheesy looking, lol. It has flashing LEDs behind it. But it’s ok...I guess. Tips. One reviewer said “let gravity be your friend “...boy was he right. The wooden dowels just rest in the holes...easy enough to get around, just pay attention. Magnetic tipped screw drivers will make your life easier. When you put the heater in place there’s not a bunch of room to get between it and the inside wall. You can’t get your hand in there while holding a screw to get it started...unless you have an eight year old handy to do it for you, lol. Also...a stubby screwdriver helps when installing the doors. Also, an electric screwdriver will help too...just be CAREFUL not to over tighten!!! So...all in all it’s pretty good. Worth the $350 I paid. Easy enough to assemble and was packaged with care. It gets 4 stars because of the cheesy logs... ... show more

    • Not a bad unit..heater issue ... update and change of ratiing
The build takes time. Just follow the picture style directions closely. It turned out just as we expected.I have one major issue with the one I received. The heating unit does NOT work properly. It will turn on and run for about 30 - 45seconds and then shut off. I'm guessing there is some kind of thermal switch that shuts it off if it gets too hot. But 30 - 45 seconds is not acceptable. Now I have to try and figure out how to get that issue solved without having to return the whole unit. If there is anyone out there that has had the same issue and had it resolved to your satisfaction ...please let me know how you did it. *** UPDATE *** I called customer service on Friday and told them of my problem. The rep. asked me a few questionS. After that took my info and the following Wed. the new unit showed up. Great customer service response to the issue and shipping of the replacement heating unit.     • Nice TV stand for my 55"TV. Holds video games/DVD player with holes to pass cords
The fireplace TV stand looks really nice. It takes some roomy space and time and patience to put this together. However, the instructions were very easy to follow. One screw/piece was missing, but since they give you a little baggie with a few extra parts, it wasn't a problem. I did use glue to connect the wooden pegs - even though it was not included nor did it say to do so in the instructions. I just figured that I don't want this thing falling apart when or if I decide to move it. The "fireplace" is pretty realistic, and the heater function is really nice. each has its own switch, so you can "see" the fire without turning on the heater if you want. I have a 55" TV on top and it fits just right. It is heavy duty, and not cheapy wood. The base and top piece are heavy. the rest of the sides/doors are pressed wood, but looks good. It is a dark brown wood color. Not cherry wood, and not worn looking neither. The fireplace has a 5 foot cord that you'll need to plug in. Hopefully you have a plug nearby. ... show more

    • The best piece of assembly furniture I have ever bought
The wood is very thick and sturdy. It's not like other cheapo assembly furniture. One thing I would caution you to keep an eye out for is scuffed parts or bad cabinet doors. I ordered two. The first had very few problems, it had one bad door. The second had two bad part C's and both doors were bad. I contacted the company and they sent me replacement doors but must have forgot to send part C. I contacted them again and they are sending me the part C's. It's been a bit of a hassle ordering these parts BUT the end quality and value of it is worth the hassle. Usually I would have returned it but because I have seen the end product I know it is worth it and it's a steal at this price. Beware though. This same company produces an "Overland" corner TV stand that is around the same price and it is absolute junk. ... show more

    • Good Quality at a Great Price - We Are Very Happy With Produact
Very solid and looks great. Less expensive than other fireplace stands in stores I was comparing to but same higher quality. Assembly took some time, but I am an experienced assembler of furniture and this was one of the better assemblies. For example there are many screws, but pilot holes are drilled for screws (a real plus) and all part & hardware are labeled (another real plus). All the screws could be put in with power screw drive except the 6 small screws attaching fireplace unit. These were a little tricky because you need a longer phillips screw driver to get past frame of fireplace unit. To keep the screws from falling off screw driver for this operation I put a little wax on screw head so it would stick to screwdriver. On the plus side it is only 6 screws and Pilot holes make unit alignment & insertion easy. We are very very happy with this item, I recommend it highly. ... show more
