Ordered a set of these and they fit nicely on my la-z-boy recliner. Just a suggestion, but in addition to this cover I also bought the Qualitell recliner Armrest protector which stretches over the arm providing extra protection. 4 dogs here 🐶 You will notice it in the pic. My previous chair cover hung all the way down on the backside making it look messy. This cover has a nice fit and I like the elastic belt keeping the backside from moving. So far so good. I chose light gray, out of the color selection, this blended best with the type of blue I have.

This cover is durable, soft, and well made BUT if you order the blue color do not expect a soft periwinkle blue color as shown, expect navy. That is the reason that I rated this product as only a 1 star. I purchased this higher priced product because I wanted that specific color. I feel that their marketing of this product is very misleading. They show a certain picture with "blue" as the product description so when you actually get the product, it is blue, just not the blue shade that is pictured and you naturally assumed that you were getting. Then they hope that you just don't have the time or the ambition to return it, which describes me to a tee. Plus if I do return it I will have to order a whole different product to get a different shade of blue. Navy does not match or flow with the color scheme of my house, so I am a bit angry that they misrepresented their product.

I am so happy with this purchase! I chose the large recliner size although my chair is just 23' across the seat. I needed the extra coverage because of a chihuahua that likes to "perch" up on the back of the seat. He was picking the fabric at the edges with the smaller cover that I had before. Another great feature, the side strap that keeps the cover in place, went up and under the arm where the chair reclines so you can't see it. It is soft, not exactly thick but not thin like another I had ordered and had to send back. I would definitely recommend this cover!

I don't enjoy sitting in leather chairs and prefer the warmth of fabric to snuggle up into. For some time I was throwing a blanket over our leather recliner but I was constantly having to adjust it when it slipped down and decided enough is enough. I picked this cover because a full slipcover was not going to work with the side lever pull my chair has for bringing up the footrest. So far this has stayed in place just fine. The backing is non-slip so it isn't going anywhere and surprised me that it wasn't loud and crinkly like sleeping on plastic sheets. I washed the cover before use and it it was fine. I dried it partially and then allowed it to air dry across the backs of a few chairs to finish. (I didn't want to heat it too much in the dryer because of concern for the plastic backing.) I don't use the side pockets much but I can see how they could be useful to others. I would buy this cover again.

I really wish sellers would include more details in the measurements and fit of these covers. The basic dimensions they give may be nowhere near enough to tell how a cover will fit even if you measure your chair in detail and exactly how straps are meant to hold it in place is almost never explained. My recliner has a more ergonomic shape than just a big box. The biggest problem is that some of the back is no wider than the seat with probably none of it being the width the straps were designed for so the elastic as is did nothing. There is no pictures or proper description of the elastic. From the pictures it looked like a single band that went around the back and I figured I could just adjust it but instead it's 2 not adjustable pieces down the sides that I'm not entirely sure how they are meant to fit on a more square recliner. On mine they hang completely loose down the sides with nothing to loop over. I tied them together so they now reach around the back tight enough to do something. It's closer to how I thought they would work. Despite the seat of my chair being over an inch narrower than the seat size listing for the cover it ends up with gaps in the corners behind the armrest until I straighten it again. There is nothing to hold the seat piece or armrests in place so they shift all over. I gave up putting anything with even the slightest weight in the pockets or it just pulls the whole thing to one side making bigger gaps in the corners. I think I might have to do more modifications to keep the armrests and therefore the seat from sliding sideways. The bottom seat piece is quite short compared to many others. You can somewhat see it in the photo but it was hard to measure exactly where it would end. This cover has some of the shorter armrest widths I saw, which avoids covering my cup holder, but it also has a shorter seat than even a typical chair or couch likely has. I thought it would reach the edge but when lining up the seams it turns out that if it's slid all the way back the front of the seat cover comes out several inches short of the end. The issue seems to be the fact the fabric slides farther back the more you recline the chair so the cover only matches the seat dimensions listed if the chair is completely upright. I leave mine constantly slightly reclined resulting in the extra gap being permanent. Since my chair is leather that means the back of my knees can still stick to it even when the leg rest is folded down. It also means on any fabric the edge would not be protected and the edge often sees the most wear. Especially if pets climb on it.

UPDATE - I changed this from a 2 star to 1 star. Not only did the vendor not replace 2 that were damaged, but they are NOT waterproof. I kept two out of four I purchased and put them on the couch the dog sleeps on the most. She just had her first accident on them and it leaked right through. so unhappy with this purchase. Ordered these based on reviews and the fact I need waterproof for our older dog who sometimes has accidents. Bought four of these green ones for the two recliner sofas I have. Only gave it two stars as two out of four arrived with holes in the fabric. Trying to replace them now. Will update review once transaction takes place and I receive two good ones.
