I like them alot but I have every intention of replacing the 9007 bulbs that came pre installed by manufacturer. You can't adjust the height of the headlights at all, and the low beams are pointed a little low for my liking. Install was a minor pain but it's nothing that should be to difficult for anyone. Paying the $200 price for these assemblies was well worth it, I just wish that the bulbs were of a bit better quality so I wouldn't feel the need to upgrade the set up further with new 9007 led bulbs. ... show more

    • Meant for daytime running lights!!!

These look nice, are bright, and easy to install once I figured out that these are for Daytime Running Lights - DRL-, my 01 expl does not have DRL, and as result these halos would blink with the blinker unless the lights were on then the blinker would not blink, so I had to use my old top blinker plug and solder wires to it and run those leads to the parking light wire, to avoid modifying the headlight assembly in any way, as the halos and the top blinker light are powered from the same source plug, was a royal pain but once figured out was smooth and looks really nice. Am happy and those reviews that mention blinker issues, most likely they too don't have DRL. ... show more

Easy to install, it was harder to remove the old ones. No problems with adjustor, uses a 4mm socket rather than the strange 4.5mm socket on OEM which is nice. Couldn't believe the difference in brightness versus the old worn out and oxidized factory assemblies. Included 9007 bulb is good. Great deal all around. ... show more

The two headlights arrived well-packed and in great condition. Overall, the first appearance of the unit was that it was of high quality. The seams, connectors, and lenses all looked perfect. Instructions were adequate and the installation was simple. After the initial turn-on, everything worked as expected. Halo rings, blinkers hi/low all looked beautiful. Took vehicle on a nighttime test drive to verify capabilities. THE ISSUE. The two halo rings stopped working on the right side, the top eyebrow LED is only 50% illumination compared to the driver's side. The passenger side does not match the driver side in all lights except the amber bulbs. I lost faith that a replacement would last. Back to the OEM lights with upgraded bulbs. ... show more

I bought these for a 1999 ford explorer XLT and it was a little tricky to install cause ford gives you no extra wire length but the high beam and low beam and halos work although I did have one issue the ground wire on passenger side stopped high beam may have just been me but easy fix overall I love them ... show more
