I bought this for replacement of the OEM for my Ford F150 Lariat. I had purchased the VIPMOTOZ clear lens brand about 3 yrs ago and the lens on those deteriorated and could not be repaired with a lens renewal kit so they hit the trashcan. I ordered these over the Dorman brand for the price difference as they are both made in Taiwan and these came with lamps. These are clear and although not as robust as Ford OEM's but they will do. They would not go into the lamp housing as they were getting hung up on the grill (photo with red arrows). The reason came to light as I noticed the excess plastic on the lens/housing border than in effect gave the lamp have a larger circumference which prevented it from going through the grill opening for the headlamp. The second photo (blue arrows) shows the clean and smooth margins of the 2003 OEM that was abnormal with these headlamps. (I don't have a before picture of the new ones, sorry, but that border was way bigger than the OEM because of way the lens was fused to the housing)That was easily removed by sanding the excess off using a 4 belt sander. Great for the price! I installed the clear chrome style lamp assemblies on my 2000 f150 XLT. They look amazing for such a cheap price. The only thing I noticed was a small malfunction in the chroming on the inside, where there is a tiny piece of plastic that didn't get covered. It is so small that you can't notice it from 5 feet away, and definitely not when the lights are on. (*UPDATE: The small defect was just a piece of plastic that must have fallen in during manufacturing. It moved loose when I started driving around. If I wanted to, I could uninstall and shake it out of the bulb hole, but I'm not going to do that since it's barely noticable. Updated to 5 stars because of this knowledge. awesome for the price.) Install was easy, but you will have to get an adjustment tool to adjust the beam direction. Mine were aimed a little low, but once corrected I can see again! I paired mine with some $40 LED headlights conversions from here on the old spamazon, and holy cow do they make a difference. They make me feel like my truck is 10 years newer. I'm rateing 4 stars due to the build quality, but I really cant complain for the price. We will have to see if they can hold up as well as the OEM ones did! ... show more

These fit my 1997 f150 XLT 4.2l RWD. They came with bulbs in them and plugged in no problem. Install took 10 minutes. Spray wd-40 on your levers while your waiting for your new lights. I did and I yanked them up with pliers. Got them freed up early. When you take your old light out you can eyeball the adjustment screws before you install. Grab the screw with pliers then turn the plastic piece by hand. The light itself is heavier that my stock light. ... show more

It may be tempting to purchase this item because the price he might be tight on money but the plastic is low quality and bridal. After finally installing them I went and bought the tool to adjust them ,two clicks to try to adjust the top right and it broke.The original Ford parts mechanics of the light do not fit this aftermarket piece so if something Snaps or breaks,you cannot replace it with parts from your old Ford factory headlight assembly. I have to take this L as a lesson. Get what you pay for when it comes to headlight assemblies don’t be cheap about it ... show more

Seems to be at least as good in quality as original housing. Light bulbs are included and provide excellent lighting. Swapping out parts was a quick and fairly easy job. I managed to get both headlamps swapped out and completed within a half hour. It was closer to 20 minutes.

Why pay money for multiple polishing kits when you can just replace the lenses AND get new halogen bulbs. On my 2000 expedition it does not even require tools to remove and install. I've used this brand for 1999 Camry and this vehicle and have been very pleased.

Easy to install, came with bulbs (bonus). The fitment is good and looks great. When you use the provided lock rings you will have to lock the bulbs in the headlight body prior to installing in the truck, lastly connecting the bulb to the lighting harness.

These were a little hard to put in at first but after having to take them out several times to install a brighter bulb they go in a lot better, however I need to adjust the angle of the light and I can't find a tool to get to the adjustment screw at the bottom
