  • Great headlights!
I got these back in October and wanted to wait a little while before reviewing. I have a 2010 Legacy GT and these swapped super easy with no modification. I love the aggressive look. Crystal clear housings, super bright with LED bulbs installed and are easily adjustable. They were the perfect upgrade from my old faded aftermarket set that lasted me 3 years. I hope to get the same or more out of these! ... show more

  • Great look and visibility
These were great lights. The install was fine, the fit was close to factory fit. The look and performance was great!!! They even survived a frontal impact to the vehicle at 35mph; mostly. I don’t feel my experience was 5-star worthy due to my short time owning them.

  • Right side headlight does not line up - with some time and effort you can get it to fit
The media could not be loaded. The same issue as others have reported the left side light fits nicely, and the right side will take some effort to get lined up. It appears as though there’s an issue with the mold for the right side Make sure you go through the box and find the end tab that mounts to the top of the fender. You will have to install it on the light. Also, if you’re upgrading to halogen headlights to do it now, go ahead and order them to have them ready when the headlights come in I used auxito H1 for highbeam and a H7 for low beam. For the money that these cost, you shouldn’t have to struggle to get the right side to fit If they would fix the issue, I would say these are a 5 ... show more

  • Fantastic headlight replacement for 2010 Subaru Outback
I spent several hours researching different replacement options for a 2010 Subaru Outback. These were the most expensive but also seemed to have the best reviews or features that I wanted. One must remove the whole front bumper in order to complete the install. Took me about 3 hours total from the first fastener removal to the last faster installed back on the vehicle. I purchased some extra generic Subaru black fasteners or clips to replace some missing ones and that was a good idea as a few originals broke removing the front bumper and a few were already missing. I also installed LED H7 low beam lights and LED fog lights which are both awesome. Those additional items were not included with the standard headlight assembly. The ones that come with it will probably be good enough for most people, I just wanted the newer LED style for the low beams. After installation I had to adjust the low beam setting to bring it more upward for better lighting distance, originally they were pointing at the ground too much, no big deal. Overall the lighting is 5-6X brighter than when I got the car with faded lenses, feels much safer, and looks cooler as well. ... show more

  • DO NOT PURCHASE THESE HEADLIGHTS!!!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. At first, these lights seemed great because they look great. Unfortunately, things only go downhill after installation. I purchased a set of Amerilite headlights on May 6, 2023. It took me several months before I could get them in to the shop to be installed. I also purchased LED low beam lights to be installed with the new headlight assemblies. Unfortunately (I later learned), the LED bulbs created a large central area with no illumination. I was out of the country for a few months and my vehicle was otherwise not safe to drive at night because I couldn’t see, so my vehicle was parked in our garage for several months. Additionally, a HB bulb burned out and blew a fuse. My vehicle was rarely outside and hardly driven until a few weeks ago. I had the LB and HB bulbs changed to high quality Sylvania bulbs. I no longer have a large central area of no illumination, which is great. However, just today, I discovered peeling on the headlights without reason. The vehicle has hardly been driven or outside of a garage since installation. Though I really like the look of the headlights, I’m very disappointed that I spent over $450 on brand new headlights only to have them start to peel with only a few months of them being used and outside in the elements. Unfortunately, Amerilite offers only a 30-day return and a 90-day warranty. Go ahead and just spend your money on OEM replacements. ... show more

  • The Projector is NOT LED. Still nice though.
It is important to note that only the DRL and turn signal lights are LED. The actual projector low beam bulbs and high beam bulbs are halogen. So if you are expecting that bright white LED color, you will feel a little mislead. Of course for an extra $200 you can replace those 4 bulbs with LED ones. Probably how they keep the cost down. Other than that one thing, these are really nice, extremely bright and very modern looking. The projector throws an even spread of light with a very well defined line across the top of the beam just like you would expect. I installed them on a 2011 Outback and I did not have the fitting issues that others experienced here. They fit perfectly. I will likely switch the high and low beam bulbs with LED eventually, but I'm cool with the way they look for now. Very bright. ... show more

  • They look amazing
As someone who has never done anything to their car by themselves until now, I can definitely say that these headlights are worth the money. They look amazing on my 2010 Subaru Legacy. I do strongly and highly suggest that if you’re going to do this by yourself, make sure you do your “homework” and look at all types of videos and diagrams of your headlights and read the description!! I can’t stress it enough but if you pull it off it’s definitely worth the hard work. ... show more
