  • Great Value!
Nice size, easy enough to install, very good instructions. It fits exactly in the space - nice and deep, and wide too! Thick and sturdy, this will last a long time.

  • A fine tub but they are made cheaply and inconsistently.
The tub is fine overall and will look great when it's finally done, but after buying two of them here's what I've learned: 1. They are cheaply made with thin walls and poorly attached wooden leveling strips on the base of the tub. One of the tubs I got required me to reattach one side of the wood because it was loose and falling off. 2. They are not manufactured consistently. First example is the drain location was not the same between both tubs and neither tub aligned to the drain location listed in the installation instructions. This required me to replumb one of the drains before the tub could be installed which cost both time and money. Additionally the front apron spacing wood was not the same size on each side of one tub required to cut one of the blocks out and replace it (see photos). Lastly, the OSB base attached to one tub was cut too long and wouldn't allow the tub to be installed without cutting it shorter - which took a minute to figure out. Next time I'm sticking with Kohler. ... show more

  • WARNING...DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!
Size: 60"x30" Style: Left Drain
Where to start with this pile of garbage. While the tub is good looking when you first get it, that's where the fun ends. The quality is horrible and it seems that whoever is building this model is either very bad at their job, given a pile of junk to make in the first place, or a combination of both. Here's a list of the junk: -uneven fiberglass spray throughout that creates different thicknesses of tub. Too thick would be acceptable, but it is too thin in some spots. -read the directions and then throw them straight in the trash...they do little good. -requires level 2x4 strings on all sides (not weight supporting)...go ahead...build the support frame level per the instructions and try to set the tub. You'll curse the gods because I guarantee you'll be taking the tub back out! I'll save you a headache. The remarkably high quality job (joking) the doofus who sprayed the fiberglass on the tub just screwed you. The front stringer WILL NOT be level! The fiberglass is so uneven under the apron lip it's not even funny! Check my pic with the tub set in the frame. The front vertical support board on the far left is about 1" shorter than the far right. Suffice to say...not level and no way to make it. I'm a magician so I figured it out. Good luck to you if you don't head my advice to NOT buy this tub. -fold over apron lip is not flat and flush all the way across. Not something one should have to deal with if only the shop peons at AS could build a good product. My solution...used some plywood, wood shims, and low expansion window/door foam to make it nearly flat and flush. So, in the end as you can see from the pics that I made it look good, that's simply because I'm the master. I offer zero thanks to the folks at American Standard. If this is any sign to the standard of quality used to make their products, they need to change their name to American Substandard. My advice, get a Kohler unit. They make several models that are nearly identical to this with superior quality. More pricey...sure, in the short term. Trust my advice, as you should from someone on the internet whom you don't know, otherwise you'll be wishing you did! ... show more
