I used this lovely fabric to cover my outdoor couch cushions and it looks great! The fabric colors and pattern were exactly as shown and the fabric is sturdy. The grain of the fabric was straight and there were no slubs or other flaws in the weaving. Yes, you do need to finish the edges of the cut fabric, just like ANY woven fabric, or it will ravel--if you sew you know this is typical for a woven fabric so don't skip that step. I used a wide zigzag stitch but a serger would work even better. I plan to protect it from weather with a furniture cover. In my sunny area of the country, all fabrics will fade (even Sunbrella fabric, which the pillows in this photo are made from). ... show more

I bought this material to cover an accent chair. The patter is nice, but the material isn’t as sturdy as I expected. Also, it is sheer enough that I wish I had used a white backing material to prevent unsightly show-thru.
