I disagree with the shower curtain comparison of others. The fabric does have a very smoothe and shiny finish up close, but not noticible when hung. I think they are fine for many applications. In my case I have a huge storage area over my bedroom closet with no doors, which needed to be covered. I think they are fine for this scenario. Saved me the trouble of having to make short curtains or buy something more expensive that would need to be altered. I was initially concerned when they arrived in a tiny boxes. I ordered 2 pair. 1 pair per box, and one box was in an envelope but the other was not. I was sure I'd have a wrinkled mess, but as you can see they were ready to hang right out of the box. They were very precisely folded. I'm sure there is no way I'd get them back in the box, so something to consider if you're on the fence and may want to return. Up close the background was a nice white, but once I hung it had more of a grey look as there is no light behind them. While you can't see the bins behind the curtains, I would have preferred them to be more opaque. Despite a few quirks, I really like them, and the color goes well with my mostly white room accented with greens and blues. Well worth the cost for my application. One last FYI, I hung on a 1 inch tension rod. The top section for the curtain rod was very generous, however they are also tightly woven and would work well with clips. ... show more

The pattern on this set of curtains is absolutely beautiful! I love sunflowers and this works quite well in my kitchen theme. I have sunflower anti-fatigue mats and I made 2 sunflower/gnome diamond paintings. I wanted to set my kitchen apart from the rest of the house (open floor plan) and this truly did the trick. My picture is terrible but the colors are so vibrant and the picture is beautiful. The material is not cloth/linen but it isn't plastic like a shower curtain either. Because I have it at my sink, the material is great in case of splashing. The material is thick enough to provide complete privacy and block out the harsh sun but due to its white color it helps lighten up the room. While I love it and would absolutely buy it again, it is important to note that it is not the best quality. The bottom of the curtain is not level on the lower panels. They pull up slightly at the outside corners. I am not really fussed by this but I know some people would be. I bought one pair of panels because I thought they would fit my window, but when I got them, each panel was HALF the stated size on the package. So 2 panels made up the width that I needed. They appeared to be decent quality, so I ended up buying another pair, so they would spread out across the entire window width. I mentioned it to the seller, and they appologized. It sounded like they wanted to issue a refund, but said since they did not have payment info, I had to contact Amazon, which I did not do. The pattern on the fabric is really nice, but there is an issue with the way they are sewn. I have 4 panels now, and when looking at them as they hang, the far right corner on the lower right seems to be an inch shorter than the left side. I know how to sew, and what I am thinking happened is when they were sewing the hem in the factory, they were going too fast, and ended up clipping off the end a little bit on each one. It was annoying at first, but I was able to sort of camouflage it a bit by using curtain hooks instead of just putting it on the bar. I also bought the short version of the curtains, for a small window, vs. floor length. If they were floor length, that one inch difference probably would not have been so noticeable, but when it hit the bottom of the window frame, they did seem to creep up on the shorter side. Again, the curtain hooks seemed to help with this issue. Overall, they are nice, but what I would consider over priced, because of the way they described the sizing, I had to buy two packages. Normally, I would never pay this much for curtains, there is no need to, as there are many other more affordable styles out there. I just liked the pattern, because it mimicked the trees I have outside the window. They will work for now, until I need something that blocks out more light. ... show more
