  • Best Value!
Amazing. Why pay 2x or 4x the price? This works just as well as the other brands. The design and manufacturing are excellent. The design elements I like start with the latches. They are simple sturdy levers mounted on durable rubber straps. So easy to use. Brilliant. Next is the handle area. The handles are great, long enough and comfortable. There is also a provision for a cargo strap. This can be used to secure a wheel kit or strap it down to your hitch or other platform. Well thought. There are also places for straps on the lid if you want to go that route. Finally, the stainless corners work as bottle openers and the lock reinforcement. What would make it better? A relief valve tops this list. I just open the drain a little to let air in and it frees up the lid. It would also be nice if they offered the specs for a cutting board and a basket or just offered the products on the page. Finally, low profile skate wheels would be brilliant. People could add the bigger wheels if needed. All coolers this size should come with wheels on one end IMHO. All that said, this thing just works. We went on vacation for a week. Used it as transport on the way to and the drink cooler while there. Despite staying outside and being opened 30x a day, the ice lasted 5 days. Crazy. On the way home, we added one 20# bag of ice to a cooler of refrigerated goods. When we got home, we only had 6oz of water, hardly any ice had melted in 11 hours. The sticker came right off too. Why did I wait so long. Can’t wait to order more. ... show more

  • long ice retention
I use this large cooler in conjunction with my Engle 12 volt refridge/freezer. It has so many excellent features. The latches really work in such a fashion as to keep the lid tightly sealed. There are no metal fixtures to rust away. Everything is robustly built....industrial scale. The drain is located exactly where and how it should be for draining the melted ice off. On the inside of the box there is even a little spillway dip to get the maximum water drained. The cooler has a built in bottle opener. Ever get frustrated looking for the bottle opener? They even made it so that you can lock your cooler with a long shank padlock. When i go to mexico the cooler sits on the flatbed. I don't worry about jerks messing with it when i go in to eat. Why? I have a stainless steel cable through a hole in the headache rack and then a thimble that slides onto the shank of the padlock and then into the hole of the cooler. If you have cable cutters ...okay you got me... I got 6 days out of the cooler with two bags of ice. I am sure you could get more if cooler was packed to the rim and everything was prechilled. I like that everything is industrial scale. Even has a little knob you can open on the side to equalize pressure when ascents/descents are made. You might need a flatblade to open the cooler due to how tight the tolerances are on the lid. But i don't see that as a negative. I see that as...cool. Love this cooler. At half the price of a Yeti...you won't be disappointed. I gave all of my old coolers to Goodwill. ... show more

  • Unbelievably good
Color: White Size: 20 Qt Style: Cooler
This cooler far exceeds my expectations. It’s literally one of the best products I have bought in years. It’s rugged, well made, and keeps stuff cold like no cooler I have never seen. Even though this is the smallest model in the line, it holds a lot more because all it needs to keep things cold is a couple of frozen water bottles. No bulky ice, no water to drain a couple of times a day. Brilliant. The handle is comfortable and well padded also. It shows out of the way and locks securely. Might be the last cooler I’ll ever buy. It’s that good. ... show more

  • Good cooler if a bit heavy
Cooler holds ice well and has robust cover latches. The carrying handles are on a rope which can be removed which is both convenient and inconvenient depending on the situation. I would buy it again.

  • Great insulation
Color: White Size: 20 Qt Style: Cooler
I took this cooler on a kayaking trip. It was in the sun all day, highs in the upper 80's with lows in the high 60's. I loaded the cooler with ice Wednesday, along with 12 12oz cans and a couple small food items equivalent to another ~3 12oz cans. Saturday evening, still had some ice. Not a ton, but my stuff was all ice cold, even into Sunday morning. Didn't use any big blocks of ice, just regular 10lb bags from the store. In theory that ice should perform the worst, so I'd say it could do even better with some big blocks of ice. I did make it a point to put a bag of ice in the cooler Tuesday afternoon to prechill the cooler a little bit, and then drain the water, load items, and add top off with ice on Wednesday afternoon. Performance was right in line with the RTIC and Yeti coolers that were also on this trip. My only complaint: as ice melts, the the vacuum seals itself shut, and you have to open the drain plug just a little to allow it to open. It's sucking in air when you do this, so you don't lose much water at all. No noticeable performance hit, just a slight annoyance you might have to deal with if you don't open the cooler for an extended chunk of time. ... show more

  • Great cooler for rafting
I’ve had this cooler for about a year now. I use it on multi-day rafting trips as a drink and extra ice cooler. I just got back from a 5 day float in 110+ heat and this cooler had ice when we got home. It seals so tight I often have to remove the drain plug to equalize pressure in order to get the lid open. Works great and very rugged. Highly recommend. The key to this cooler (or any rotomolded cooler) is to pre-chill the cooler 24 hours before you plan to use it, otherwise it will melt your ice very quickly. ... show more

  • Keeps ice for a very long time but no basket
This cooler is very similar to other similar roto coolers and it keeps ice for several days but the insulation is very thick (great to keep ice and food cold but eliminates a huge amount of interior space). One thing that is sorely missed is a food basket to suspend from the top of the cooler to keep food out of water from melted ice. I didn't realize that when I bought it and it is a greater disadvantage than I would have thought and there is no practical work-around". Great for being out for several days but for day trips I prefer a less insulted cooler that will hold more stuff. It definitely seems plenty durable and a good drain. ... show more
