They’re space-saving champs—slim enough to give my closet breathing room without sacrificing strength. The velvet coating has just the right amount of grip to keep those slippery blouses and wide-neck tops from making a break for the floor. And aesthetically? They make my wardrobe look like it belongs in a Pinterest post. Now, about the quirks: When they first arrive, some hangers are stuck together like long-lost siblings reunited in a shipping box. A gentle wiggle separates them, and no harm done. The only real ding is that the velvet can shed a bit. It hasn’t ruined anything, but I did notice a light dusting of fuzz on a couple lighter items. Nothing a lint roller can’t handle—but worth noting if you’re hanging something fussy or freshly laundered. These Amazon Basics velvet hangers are a total game changer for my closet! The slim design allows me to maximize hanging space, which is especially helpful in smaller wardrobes. Fabulous quality, the rose gold is just a bit brassy but still looks good. The hangers are large enough to hold XL shirts and hoodies. I would be hesitant to trust them with extra heavy jackets though. The felt wrapping of the hangers does a very good job of holding fabric in place. This can be a good or a bad thing. If your closet is very overcrowded and you want to just yank stuff off the hanger this style isn’t going to work well for you. Still it’s more durable than the very cheap plastic hangars found elsewhere. Otherwise it’s fantastic and I have ended up ordering multiple sets so I can transition most of my hanging clothes to this style.

These hangers are thin, light weight and strong enough to hang a leather coat. The color is an off white and feels like velvet. These hangers keep your clothes wrinkle free. The design of these hangers keep clothes from sliding off. I hang pants upside down using clothes pins. Clothing with spaghetti strings like tank tops, sun dress and nightgowns stay in place with the indent on each side of the hanger. Very function and a great space saver. Say goodbye plastic hangers, metal hangers and to bulky hangers.
