Got this white lid for my gray 10-gallon Rubbermaid trash can since it arrived without one. The fit is perfect! It’s thick, sturdy, and weatherproof, great for outdoor use in the yard or garage. It snaps on securely and keeps rain and bugs out. Definitely worth it for how durable and long-lasting it feels.

This is a very durable lid that is nearly air tight.

Very disappointed. I spent so much time matching the cover to the Brute 10 gal.plastic trash can. My purpose was for the cold weather. That lid is tough to handle when getting it on and off. It is not pliable in the very cold weather. I asked Rufus at how to handle this cover. The reply came back with many suggestions on how to handle this cover. I am so sorry for buying this can and cover. I found if I turned it upside down, it came off like a charm. Otherwise, it's a struggle from the top side to release. That plastic goes brittle hard in cold weather. Ask Rufus first, before you buy. It is not good for me, maybe, your experience will be better!
