Note: DOES NOT WORK WITH MOTORCYCLES. I bought this to use after having my ECU flashed. The reader doesn’t even recognize a new YAMAHA MT09. Tried one a few other new bikes, doesn’t read the VIN, info or DTCs as described. Works on Jeep, trucks, cars, but not motorcycles.

The advertisement says it is compatible with Kawasaki motorcycles, it in fact is not. Waste of time and money. Unfortunately you're probably going to have to take it to the Kawi dealer

Pretty good product. Comes with a jumper cable and instruction book (if you need that). It will not read most Kawasaki’s although it says it does. Not because of the product. But because Kawasaki has their own special software (KDS-Kawasaki Diagnostic System) that the ECU runs with. So you likely will not be able to connect to your Kawi if you have one. But it’s great tho. Has instructions on how to connect and use the jumper too which is super cool. Great price for what you get for sure. The jumper cable is essentially a universal adapter with just the prongs.

I don't want to give it one star bcz I think these people are trying their best in some confusion to bring this scanner up to scanning some motorbikes. Though I received it with its security stickers broken, opened. But I kept it anyway. Good thing is that it has a website and there is a software update for it which I installed but didn't see any changes anywhere. It took 25 minutes to update. Does not show you what files are being updated. I see some reviews say a couple of them they were able to scan couple of motorbikes , Great ! But I have yet to see that. Also it tries to scan cars but short and not something that makes sense. The language the description is from some other planet for now. Added some pics of it. Since its security warranty seals were already broken I wanted to look inside if it was repaired or damaged. Seems to be all ok and turns on though functionality has yet to show up.

I have a 08 Zx 1400, it would not read , it didn't read or pull up my code. My bike is showing me the code on the instrumental panel, but scanner is not working, I have the 16 pin to 4 pin adaptor.
