We have had an Amazon fire tablet since my daughter was 2 Years old so about 3 years now. We have also dived into the iPad area but nothing is as amazing as this tablet! The updated along with the lack of internet access is so amazing! I love that we can still use Disney plus and Netflix also. Most tablets you can’t use anything but this one is amazing ! The parental controls are unmatched ! I just purchased 2 more of these tablets and I will be following them as the updates come through and get a newer one for my kids when they get older. We have bought all four of our kids the amazon 10 tablet. They all have loved it and it works great for their first time having a tablet to teach them how to use it. This product was a great price especially since it does everything that a regular iPad can do. They love the size of it, and I knew when we bought the smaller size for our youngest daughter, we would have to send it back for her to have the bigger screen to match her siblings. The speed of the tablet does not lag even when the children constantly push every button imaginable and you would think it would break. The sound is amazing even on a low volume they can still hear everything, as well as I can from the other room or front seat of the car. I love that I can control it from my phone. If the kids aren't listening, I have paused it from my phone or even shut it down for the night for them to go to bed. They cannot access it once it goes on moon or has been paused without my permission. It is very durable, and my kids have dropped it multiple times and it still stay intact. It might have a crack or two on the screen, but it doesn't affect them playing with it or watching it. I would recommend this tablet starting out over the iPad 100% especially for the cost. I have not tried the compatible products that go with this but certainly have looked into them. I even use their tablets when they are in bed to watch certain shows.

This thing is awesome. My son absolutely loves this thing and uses it just about ever day. What else was great and we will definitely be going forward with it is the amazon kids + membership. I thought it was a bit much but they get access to so many games and if you set the parental stuff right you don't have to worry about them throwing your bill up on accident. Will definitely be getting another one soon for our daughter.

I got the newest Fire HD 10 Kids Pro for my child, and it’s been a hit in our house. The screen is bright and clear, and the tablet feels sturdy but not too heavy for little hands. The kid-friendly case has already survived a couple of drops without any issues. What I really like is the parent dashboard. I can set time limits, approve apps, and even add educational ones I want them to use. My child gets access to games, books, and shows through Amazon Kids+, and I can filter what’s age-appropriate.
