I recently purchased these Amazon Essentials gold flip-flops at the start of spring, hoping to find an affordable sandal for everyday wear. After wearing them consistently for a few weeks I’ve gotten a good sense of their overall quality and comfort. One of the biggest positives is their style. The gold color is simple making them easy to dress up or down. I’ve been able to pair them with everything from athletic wear to casual dresses, which makes them a great staple piece. They’re also very lightweight, which is perfect for warmer weather or packing for trips. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. While they are comfortable at first, they don’t provide much arch support, which can make longer walks a bit uncomfortable. After wearing them for extended periods, I noticed some slight soreness in my feet. Softer, more flexible straps from the start would also improve comfort right out of the box. For shoppers, I would recommend these flip-flops if you’re looking for a stylish, budget friendly option for light use rather than something for long distance walking. Love 'em. Closest thing to being barefoot! After receiving the first pair, have proceeded to buy them in other colors. They're comfortable, fit like a glove and enhance the look of my foot. I also don't think they'll come apart as quickly as some reviews say. I won't be too hard on them, plus, if they do wear out quicker than a thicker sandal, am thinking I'd be happy to buy again. My foot is considered an 8 1/2 wide but I bought a 9. Will be ordering the pink ones next! :D ... show more

True to size. Amazon Essentials sandals/slippers. They are very comfortable and they have some sort of memory foam in them even though it's not the expected thick memory foam of some other popular name brand from some other big-name box store. Regardless, they are comfortable, they fit, they are true to size if you're a size 13 shoe like me, and they fit the width of my feet as well. The traction for me is good because I've not had any issues with them sliding off my feet, causing me to trip, etc. I've had these for quite a few months now and they are not fading, deteriorating, peeling, or coming apart, which is a great thing. Sometimes I think when people think of these types of shoes, sandals, or slippers, they think they're poorly and cheaply made. In which case for me, these are not. They have been holding on and rocking with me since day one when I got them. For the price, I would get them again in different colors. Again I feel like they're well made for what I need and use them for. They can go with just about any outfit except for maybr in wintertime but they're pretty versatile to me. ... show more

Absolutely loved these. They are cute and simple. My favorite thing about these is that you can wear them to launch, to clean, or go out to run errands. Easy to clean and easy to match with everything. Very versatile. This is my second pair.
