It lightly skims over me without being too loose or baggy, and the sleeve length has good coverage. I’m 5’4 and carry most of my weight in my belly and butt. Sometimes plus size dresses are too long on me, but this one fit me perfectly right above my knee. I took my normal size (I wear a 4x in Torrid clothes, so I bought this in a 4x) and it’s perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the purchase of this dress. I honestly, had lower expectations. I ordered an XL, definitely could have gone down a size. It is a lower-cut V neck so keep that in mind. My breast area is not super large but it's still noticeable and I feel myself adjusting the line so it is not exposing too much. Folks with larger breast, keep that in mind. I really liked this dress, especially for the price. The fabric was very soft and stretchy, although a bit on the thin side. The black was a nice dark shade. This is my favorite dress. I now own it in two colors. Ordered the Large, normally medium, per Amazon, first; it’s a bit roomier in the busy and a bit longer. The medium fits better, not as loose in the bust, I’m a 36DD. Shows some cleavage, so I wear a cami at times. Could be an awesome nursing dress! I’m a Nana, but recommended to my daughter. This was a “Try it now and buy later” or whatever that promotion is where you try it for seven day then either buy or return it. It was soft, and the fit was perfect, yes it is above the knees about 3 inches for me, but l love it. You probably will too.

    • WAY bigger than expected
Either I've magically lost about 25 pounds, ot this line of dress is much bigger than expected. I first ordered an XXL in the maxi of this. too long, too big all over. I sent it back and ordered the midi in an XL. I am 5'8" 200 lbs. 38DDD bra ----STILL too big! I usually wear a 16 up top, and a 14 pants. so I'm super surprised. I put a small safety pin up top to keep cleavage from spilling out everywhere. By the end of the day, the material with the safety pin waa sagging. I normally have the opposite issue. I just can't figure this dress OUT. I love the cut and style of it but I'm done experimenting. I can't really return this dresses, because it has safety pin marks in and I've already washed it. Next time I wear it, it will be winter. I will wear a cami under it and wear tights with knee high boots and a jean jacket. I got it in blue and I have statement all yellow wood necklace with wood yellow earrings. It will be cute. ... show more
