I just needed the controller but I figured I could use another headset, so I bought the package. The headset sounded pretty good and I was mid game when I lost 90% volume after 15 minutes of use. I thought maybe I touched a control on the headset, no, there are none. I plugged in an old cheap headset, still fine. So in 15 minutes the Turtle Beach self destructed. Turtle Beach used to be good, but like everything else made in China over the last 20 years, products that used to be quality and reliable are just corrupted counterfeits of what used to be made in the USA, and which would actually work properly and have a reasonable lifespan. I can't wrap my head around the reasoning behind why a company would destroy it's brand by producing absolute garbage and pretending their products are quality. ... show more

These are great! They have fantastic sound quality, sound dampening and comfort on your head. The controls are easy to use and it’s easy to connect to the controller. While my son and his friend were gaming in our basement while I was in our movie room I couldn’t hear them goofing off and yelling at their games while I played mine. As well as the mic not picking up hearing them screaming it only got me talking to the other players. I really appreciated the alone time I got by even being in just the next room.
