I went off the measurements, I'm 38DDD, 160lbs, so got the xl, way too big, I got the large and it fit great, but these shirts have a lot of stretch and they do get looser with more wear. This seems to be a trend in the Amazon Essentials tops I bought in my last order. AE brand always used to be loose on me, so I always order a size L. I wear a 38C bra and can fit an M (rarely) an L or an XL depending on the brand. I don't usually buy an XL in stretchy tops because I typically just need a bit of ease in the shoulders and chest and the stretch takes care of that. But this was uncomfortably close to my body all the way to my hips, which are proportionately small. Not clinging, and it is not Asian sizing, but if I had known, I would have sized up to an XL to get the loose fit shown in the product photo. The fabric is very thin and light, but not transparent, which is unsurprising, however, since I bought Charcoal Heather, which is a medium-to-dark grey shade. It is nice and long; it covers my crotch, which is my preference, and I am 5'11". Hope this helps! Bought it again in navy before I received the first one. Same issue. I really like this top. The fabric is not typical cotton and stretchy which allows it to fit and hang nicely. I liked the color and design on it..goes great with jeans or even a nice pair of dress pants. The length would even do well with A-line skirt.

It is Comfortable. It fits , not tightly, but shows my lumps and bumps perhaps more than I like (appearance). It’s not thick but slinky may best describe the fabric. For me it’s a little thinner fabric than I prefer. It’s not transparent. Going up a size would not be feasible bc the fit was correct. The Quality is good enough. And the Style is what I wanted. As to the color, I wanted RED. This red has a bit more orange than I prefer. It’s not orange but it is an orangey red, if that makes sense. I think I ordered about 15 shirts and this was the only one I kept! My requirements: long enough to cover butt Doesn't rise above pants when arms are raised Soft and lightweight but not see through Flattering v neck (not too high or low) It hit the mark on all these! It did arrive very wrinkled, but that was easily resolved with one wash. Update: I now own four of these shirts. I had ordered 6, but returned the red one (didn't love the color in person) and the grey patterned one (ended up not being my style). I wish they had more light/pastel colors, I would order more!
