Update raised from 3 stars to 4 because if I'd liked the drawstring this dress would be all as advertised (though still loses a star because of the weird elastic thing see orig review below). Mine (in black) did not shrink that I could tell with machine wash and dry; I removed it from the dryer while still warm and it isn't wrinkled at all. Quality after laundering seems to be all okay with no seams raveling. Quality seems fine though I haven't laundered it yet. The drawstring doesn't operate properly for 2 reasons: there is a piece of elastic alongside (and attached to) the drawstring in the back plus the fabric of the dress and drawstring has too much friction for the drawstring to slide properly. Even when I did take the time (hassle) to work the gathering enough to match my waist (big butt, small waist) there was no way to get it positioned right in the back because the attached elastic would stretch and prevented the drawstring to slide. I could tell that it wouldn't be flattering on me using the drawstring - as some other reviewers have noted. I decided to remove the drawstring altogether to make more of an A-line shift and found that the drawstring and elastic was tacked at the center back. Ok...carefully removed the stitching that tacked it then found that the elastic portion was (I think) sewed into the side seam on one side. Not willing to open up the side seam so I pulled drawstring and elastic out as far as possible to each side and cut it in the middle. I was able to get both ends of the drawstring completely out but there is still some of the elastic inside the casing in the back. This dress is another one that I was hoping to like, it just didn't look very flattering on me, and it didn't seem to fit quite right. It was a little big and kind of baggy. I'm short, 5'2" and it was hitting at the wrong length. Ugh! Just not right for me.

+Great cut and fabric. +Very comfortable fit. -Needs a modesty snap or hook - if you have large chest there will be a gaping issue. A size up won’t solve it - it will become baggy at the hips if you size up. -More solid color options would be great as well.

I am 5'6' weigh 115 and I bought a small. Fits perfectly and I have gotten a lot of compliments on each one of them they all look different In the different colors. Comfortable length is great not to long not to short. Does no wrinkle, just put in washer on cold and hang it to dry. Glad I tried them. Hope my height and weight helps someone else in size, that what I always look for and don't see much. ... show more

I wanted to love this dress so much, but my chest made the buttons gap. Ugh. This is the issue with every dress that has buttons for me. The dress was not sheer, lightweight and great for summer. I ordered this dress in an XL, even though a L may have been ok (large bust (38DDD/E) that doesn't always like tops that button). The Xl was a bit big, but after washing it shrunk perfectly. I love dresses with the drawstring waist, as opposed to elastic. Material is a nice weight.
