I was impressed by how thick the fabric is! While being thick and feeling nice, it also has a great stretch while being firm. Thus it definitely qualifies as tummy-controlling, in my opinion. The color is lovely and rich. Washing was easy and it really doesn't get wrinkled which is helpful. The back vent and seaming is a nice touch. However, I ordered based on my waist size (30", ordered a medium) when really I could have done with a large to accommodate my hips properly (41"). But if the waist were bigger, it would no longer fit high-waisted as I like. So, I would say the shape of this skirt isn't ideal for more curvy shapes. Its a nice addition to the wardrobe. Really high quality feeling. I probably should have gone a size up, I tried going to small when it should be medium. I probably should picked a different color, I don't know how to match with burgundy, but that's my problem. I feel like I'll look like an Emirates air hostess...
